The surroundings and the atmosphere are really nice in this hotel. It is very obvious well managed. We fought the hotel was 100 years old or maybe older, but then still wel maintained but the hotel reception informed us that it was only 9 years old. They made it look like it was really old, colonial.
We also enjoyed the restaurant with view on the garden, it gave a calming feeling and rejuvenating effect.
The Food and Beverage director mr Jean Marie Vallee was very kind and enjoys his job, it is very clear that he gives the restaurants all of his effort and knowledge to make these the best in Chiang Mai.
We were shown a very special creation of frozen Foie gras by the French chef Carlos Manuel Saudencio, it is made moleculair and wass unbelievably good in taste.
We can recommend this hotel with all it's restaurants and rooms, because it is just great.
Not to forget about the bar that provides up to 20 different whiskeys.
