“Pleasant place to spend on hour.”
Reviewed February 11, 2013

We had a pleasant walk about the grounds and visited the interior too. There are as many as 300 temples in Chiang Mai and part of being there is to visit a few and see the differences.

“Beautiful and peaceful”
Reviewed February 11, 2013

The temple is right in the middle of the city and it is very convenient for the Sunday walking street. To go there, I suggest it's best to have tour guide so you will get more information and history.

“Definitely One of the Must Sees in Chiang Mai”
Reviewed February 11, 2013

It's easy to walk by this one and not realize you are walking by one of the wats that you must visit in Chiang Mai. Go early or late in the day when the light is great and the crowds are few. As many reviewers point out, the chedi is spectacular but the real treat is that you are encouraged to interact with the monks. Both of course are much better enjoyed without lots of crowds.

“Well worth a gentle wander around the grounds”
Reviewed February 8, 2013

This one well worth a gentle quiet look around, even when templed out in Chiang Mai. The monks were singing in new temple and lovely to sit and slow down. Then out to discover the amazing ancient Wat Chedi Luang at the back - fascinating contrast.
