This was my first stop on my on foot tour of the city with my two small ones. My initial reaction was awe. Awe at home beautiful it was and how huge. I had never seen anything like it before and was just taken aback by the awesomeness of it. It is a must see spot, one of the better temples/monuments I was able to see. It not only had that but a really huge gold statue that you can get closer to if you remove your shoes. It is also a school for monks so you would see monks in their robes walking around and you even had an opportunity to chat with them if you like. There are a few benches that you can sit and catch your breath for a minute before continuing on. It's a really cool attraction if you are into that stuff.
