This restaurant is beautifully located next to Ping River and the house was constructed from the original restaurant by relocating the timbers piece-by-piece. We were recommended by the hotel concierge on our arrival. However we took the time to inspect the place which we found the place extraordinary in its beauty. We booked the tables for the evening, one table for clear sky and one for rainy sky. The host recommended the best time to enjoy the evening atmosphere is pre-sunset time. We did returned slightly after and found the place blustering with tourists came in groups. Instead of being annoying we took the enjoyment of watching them especially the herd-instinct when tourist travel in group.
For the evening, we noticed the difference the place looks between the day and night scenery. We also pictured how individual tourists will enjoy the restaurant surrounding in comparison to group tourists. We gave the Norther Thai cuisine which we ordered just average and believe it can be improved with the right clientele. The restaurant definitely will be recognize by both the Thai and oversea tourists but it will need time to fine tune itself to serve the right market.
