Our friends invited us to have dinner at Green Table, what a great evening we had! The manager welcomed us and straight she took care of my three year old son. We got several small dishes to try and almost we wanted to eat the plates because there was not enough food on the plates (not negative but positive because they serve huge portions)! The wine was great as well. Nothing was too much, the whole evening the staff took care of our son even when they were busy. To be short GREAT SERVICE AND GREAT FOOD! We will be back!

This restaurant is excellent, and anybody looking at the menu will quickly realise it is written in English and aimed at the more discerning guest. The food and service are equally as good as anything we would experience in Europe! Yes, this is not Thai Food!

The price is much more Thai though, three courses with drinks for three people has just cost me £60. The food quality was excellent, and the best meal we have eaten in over a week in Thailand. Service was very good, and they could explain the dishes as well.
The atmosphere is restrained, but it is a little peace of heaven away from the noisy smelly street.

The Green Table offers an excellent range of main dishes and beverages that should satisfy any diner. I enjoyed a baked salmon dish that was served attractively and it was delicious. Their chicken liver pate was to die for, really excellent as a starter. Other friends dining with me chose heavier meaty dishes and all raved about the food. They offer a limited range of desserts, but after such a hearty meal, who needs a lot of choices? A range of coffee and after dinner drinks were also available.

Although the restaurant was not crowded that evening, service was a bit sketchy. The waitress came back to clarify orders and missed a dessert order I had placed, but I didn't need the calories anyway! Maybe it was just an off night for the waiters; I'll give them another chance.

First of all, as per the review below, if you want traditional Thai food, don't come here as it is a Mediterranean Restaurant...
If you (like us) needed a little something other than Thai food for an evening then this place really fits the bill. The restaurant itself is very pretty, in an excellent location (quiet, but just off the trendy bar bit). The food offered is that of a Gastro pub, unpretentious food cooked and served well. You will find items on the menu ranging from a Rack of Lamb (my choice) to pasta dishes. You can also have a decent glass of wine here, along with some rather strong cocktails. The staff are friendly and attentive and speak very good English. Although it seemed quite western, the place appeared to be frequented by plenty of Thai.
It is not cheap for Thailand, however it was probably at least 40% cheaper than for the same meal in the south east of England.
