This easy-to-miss restaurant serves some delicious food from their tiny kitchen. The atmosphere is nice, the owners are friendly. All in all a good spot for a meal.

“Mamma Mia !”
Reviewed June 4, 2014

I am really having a hard time reading the last negative comment that was written. Simone & Pui shop for their ingredients daily and actually put their heart and soul into creating their dishes for their guests. Simone buys his meats and cheeses from an italian local of Chiang Mai who actually MAKES all his cheeses FRESH right in Chiang Mai and imports meats STRAIGHT from Italy. It takes a bit of time to create their tasty dishes but doesn't all good food? I have never had a bad meal or experience here and if you are looking for a quick in n out experience, Mcdonalds is right around the corner.

It is tough finding some delicious Italian food in Thailand for a decent price and after a month I was just about going crazy until I found Secret Learning through trip advisor. This place is one of the best in Chiang Mai and my fiancé and I are consistent guests at least three times a week for the past five months. If it isn't for the delicious Thai and Italian food that makes it for the perfect meal, it is the great atmosphere and the people you meet while there.

Simone (Italian) & Pui (Thai) are truly such wonderful people and create the perfect team ! If it isn't too busy buy them a beer and get the inside scoop to great activities like thai hippy festivals that go on in the mountains. They like to meet people just as much as the travelers do so you never know if your groups will combine to go on some kind of amazing adventure !

Highly recommend Secret Learning to visit during your stay in Chiang Mai. Not to mention the Bolognese, Lasagna are absolutely delizioso !! Pui's breakfast sandwiches and Currys are also to die for. Great place to meet friends from all over the world, delicious food, and the hosts are respected by so many in the city of Chiang Mai.

“....feeling @ home & smell of heaven! :)”

If you are looking for something special and completely different, this little cosy pub-restaurant is the right place! Best both Italian and Thai food in town! ;) Great atmosphere, like being at home! ...starting with the fresh ingredients and spices like basil or the incredibly tasty coffee made with the Italian 'Moka'! Everything is cut and chopped at the moment....you may have to wait a little bit for your dish but it is worth it!
Many thanks to the lovely Italian-Thai couple who runs this little corner of paradise! ;)

The lasagna was amazing! It's made of spinach and ricotta. The best I've ever had! And the service was excellent as well! Very good service. Everyone who visits Chiang Mai should really stop and check this place out!

“A small hidden restaurant with good food & awesome hosts”
Reviewed May 9, 2014

A beautiful hidden little restaurant in Chiang Mai. We were welcomed into the restaurant right before a thunderstorm broke out. Simone introduced himself and gave us a seat whilst already giving us extensive knowledge of the surrounding area and Chiang Mai itself. We ordered Italian food which he recommended from the menu and he cooked straight away in the small kitchen right in front of us, cooked slowly but all fresh. The pasta amatriciana was delicious and the coffee after was also very good. Can only but recommend this place from my personal experience and will no doubt visit again!
