“Vegetarian delight”
Reviewed December 13, 2013

My non vegetarian husband graciously agreed to come here with me. We had banana smoothies, tempura mushroom and red coconut curry and all were very yummy. We shared desserts which was lavender penna cotta and raw chocolate truffles. The desserts were good and worked well together. Good pricing for high quality food (about 90-120 baht per dish). Very fast service too.

“Excellent vegetarian food”
Reviewed December 13, 2013

I enjoyed the food here very much, I tried to post a review earlier, but it never showed up, so here goes a second attempt.

The banana flower salad is simply divine, though you can replace the banana flower with any ingredient, as it is all about the Thai YUM dressing as I was told.

I will certainly return here on my next visit.
Keep up the good work.

“Best restaurant in Chiang Mai”
Reviewed December 8, 2013

Whether you're vegetarian or not, this place has the most consistent, high quality, and well-made food in town. The kitchen is open for anyone to watch as the head chef is the only one who cooks all the dishes.. and for good reason b/c he's amazing! Their menu is based on whats available locally and in season.. so they will run out of things from time to time. The cool thing is that you never know what specials they'll have day to day due to the seasonality of the ingredients they source. I really loved their Banana Flower Salad along with the Roselle Kombucha.

“Decent food, amazing smoothie”
Reviewed December 5, 2013 via mobile

The food here was very nice - healthy, fresh, but could have been more flavorful (we had the tofu tamarind and stir fry veggie). The banana smoothie, however, was spectacular! Very tasty, I think they make it with coconut milk. The staff were also very friendly and the atmosphere good.

“Anchan Vegetarian restaurant is fantastic but difficult to find”
Reviewed December 4, 2013

The Anchan Vegetarian restaurant is fantastic but difficult to find.It is on the first floor overlooking a busy soi which is also the way to Hillsides 2 and 3.
But everything is very fresh.I had a red curry and brown rice with green tea.
It was all delicious-I will be back with friends
