On our last night we went to the Marco Polo restaurant - large billboard outside of the Centara Duangtawan hotel Chiang Mai stating "all you can eat buffet for 279b++. However once inside, we found that this does not include drinks which are super expensive, or VAT or service tax. So it cost us 820b for two persons with one drink each.
The choices are adequate, however we thought there would be a lot more - italian, asian, and other western food as well as a lovely choice of desserts. A barbecue with steak is also cooking whatever you want, however the steak is only a few mms thick, so you need a couple of pieces (3 inches long only) to make any impact on your hunger pains. We expected more, although the quality and taste of the food was excellent.
