My wife and I decided to try the cooking course at Pum's restaurant in Chiang Mai, we were both a bit apprehensive at first but soon got very immersed in creating some wonderful Thai dishes. There was only four of us in the course and after cooking two dishes each and sampling each others cooking we all jumped in a van and headed off to a traditional Thai market. The sights, sounds and aromas at the market were fascinating. After sampling and purchasing some produce we headed back to cook and sample three more dishes each. It was such an enjoyable and educational day, the staff were super friendly, the restaurant was very clean and pleasant. We left with very full stomachs, very much the wiser and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend the experience to others. We are heading back to Chiang Mai with 5 other couples over the new year and we will all be booking in for another day of cooking fun. Ps make sure you finish off the experience with a relaxing massage just a few doors up the street.
