The guest house was cheap and had a ok location, that is why we chose to stay there. Otherwise I would have chosen a better place, with better beds and bathrooms. But, you get what you pay for. We never got to try the food there, but we heard it was supposed to be good.

Stayed here for 5 nights - beginning of March 2013.
I cannot fault this place atall, the location is excellent- in walking distance of all the night markets / bars/ restaurants and shops. The owner is lovely and is very helpful in booking trips/ flights etc at a cheaper rate than the travel agents. The rooms are basic but clean with a fan and hot shower. For the price Paid I'd definitely say again as was excellent value for money.

I stayed in this guest house merely for the cheap price I have found in one of the booking sites. The service was excellent especially with the lady who never got tired serving her guests. They also sell cheap tours and I bought 1 going around the golden triangle. I wish I could stay longer in Chiang Mai to experience other trekking tours. Anyway, do not expect much in this guest house, it is meant for the budget-conscious travelers, nothing more. However, it can guarantee you a sound sleep especially because I stayed in the ground level where it was not very hot as the rooms are purely fan rooms. It also makes sense if you go there during the winter months as Chiang Mai absolutely has cooler climate than Bangkok.

Room Tip: Meals are served here, but I had issues with sanitation, honestly.

3 nights turned into 5. It was a fine deal at 350B/night, nice lady runs it and also has a good kitchen to grab a bite to eat. She also offers arrangement of lots of tour options and taxi service, so it's very convenient. Warm shower, fan, bedding, towels. Perfectly adequate for the money! Nice to have your own room and bathroom, with a deadbolt in the door. Also right next door to Dash, which is a great restaurant to dine. Great location for accessing all the old city stuff, is also close enough to walk to the night and flower markets and the river.

Thailand guest house is basic and cheap nobody could deny this BUT it is also close to the main road and night market.
The owner is the kindest lady and makes great food. We ate here most morning and some lunchtimes and she always has a cold beer at the ready.
She booked us lots of tours at good prices and helped us with loads of Information. They also do your washing and you get it back ironed and folded the next day.
Someone comes in and sweeps your room everyday but will always knock if you're inside. We had our bedding and towels changed once halfway through our stay.
There was a large fan in the room and we even had to turn it off early hours as it got to cold and noisy. The only down side to this guest house is the noise from the nightclub. It was only for four nights and the owner told us this only goes on for a couple of months due to complaints. It normally stops around 1/2am. This is the only reason it gets a poor, if there was no club noise it would be a very good.
Overall a good stay and we would defiantly go back the review is based on the price you pay and what you get for your money.
