Definitely a boutique hotel - it looks like a remodeled house. My room was quiet, cool, and the bed/bedding were fantastic. Breakfast was average; I had it two days in a row and it was pretty obvious that not everything was fresh from one day to the next, which I only cared about because there were a lot of flies (not that the hotel could help that).
The room was very clean, very comfortable, and the beautiful hotel pool was unbelievably refreshing after a long, hot day of walking around Chiang Mai. The hotel bikes are pretty beat-up, but they're free to use so I wasn't complaining :)
The staff is excellent... very helpful and accommodating. They went out of their way to help me make the most out of my brief trip.More
