Stayed for five nights in an Executive room. A large room with sitting area (though it has two very uncomfortable chairs - why don't they replace them with a small sofa?). The hotel is quite old, but kept very clean and in good general order. Main thing for me is the excellent position, just outside the old city moat on its north west corner. Not far from the university, zoo, airport. There is a large shopping centre next door with plenty of eating and entertainment options (including a Sizzlers for a fabulous salad bar, when you have had enough of eating Thai food). Free fast wi-fi in this room. Fairly quiet inside rooms.
There is a very large swimming pool - a real pool for length swimming. Lovely lobby and seating area. Check-in very efficient. Only English language TV channel was BBC News.
Breakfast tends to be an Asian orientated buffet (though eggs are available), but probably 95% of the guests are Asian, so understandable. Third time of staying here, and I will stay again - it is very good value.
Biggest failing is the lack of personal in room safe. Essential for the international traveller these days.
