Over the years of visiting this city i've eaten in many places.. To date this must be my fav place to eat. Set in a renovated wooden building that has an interesting past, with grounds that slope down to the river. The food is more expensive than eating in street or road side cafes but still much cheaper than a meal at home in Australia or other countries i have visited. The menu is extensive, the food aromatic and very edible. Wine is good vintage and from good vineyards but not cheap. 645 bht for a bottle of house is the cheapest. but can be offset against the meal. We ate 4 mains - the ribs, slow cooked pork, garlic prawns, curried chicken in wraps, 2 rice, bottle of wine 2 beers ice cream and 2 cheesecake came to about 15 australian dollars a head.
