Pro: Big spacious room, surprisingly clean, great mountain top view, really quiet, friendly staff, price was awesome.
Cons: As the other reviewer stated, it is really far from everything. It's really a 15 min drive in but for Chaing Mai that's really far. The room AC only works if you're in it with the key card, so expect to come back to it being a sauna. No microwave, tiny refrigerator, not enough power outlets (this can be a pro as it was sort of for us, since we had a 13 mo old child that loves to put her tiny fingers into outlets), no stores or food, and you'll need a translator to speak to the staff.
Recommend: I would still recommend this place, just because I had a child on the trip with us and we needed the peace and quiet after a being out all day. The room was big enough for her to run around in. I would also have to say that every night we came back to the room it was super clean. Grandma who came with us got the executive suite and it was a 4 star room. I would have given this place a higher star if 7/11 was built right next to it. It sucks not have a convenient store near you for small supplies.

Room tip: If you can afford to upgrade to the Executive suite I would recommend. We paid $21/night and grandma paid $29/night for the executive suite.

the hotel is not in the city ,so, If you want to stay there, you would better have a car. the location is close to chiang mai stadium. the room is good with black color decoration. big bed and blanket. there's a rooftop also but it's open for public. the view back side is cool, very big mountain is there. that time I booked double bed room and I found that it's very beautiful and convenient. but if you come with family, there's a room for family with huge bed and one single bed. i'm not sure if there's a breakfast or not because that time I booked only room not for breakfast. actually I like to stay in B2 hotel, B2 is a chain hotel in chiang mai, I think B2 black is the best one in term of room and decoration and also the staffs are friendly with service mind.with the price which is less than 1000 baht, i was very satisfied during my stay. there's a big restaurant in front of the hotel, it's so tasty thai food. but in the night time the restaurant is a bit noisy. if possible, please request for the room on the other side, not a restaurant side. if you don't have a car, you can use a red mini bus but it may be a bit costy depend on where you are going/coming from. to book this hotel, you would better call for available, i figured out that the room is alway fully booked especially in the winter season(high season).
