While the city itself may not have been as nice as we were hoping, the 137 Pillars House was beautiful.

My wife and I were celebrating our 5-year anniversary and couldn't have picked a better hotel for a romantic getaway.

The staff was extremely polite, cheery, and helpful. Eak, our friend in the bar/restaurant area, was especially incredible and interacting with him was one of the highlights of our trip overall.

The rooms were spacious, with a huge porch, large closet, and an outdoor shower.

While the hotel is a few minutes outside of the city, there are plenty of bar/restaurant/coffee shops within a few minutes walk.

We would highly recommend 137 Pillars to anyone visiting Chang Mai.

one night only, we could have stayed a week and enjoyed every minute of it !
the truly remarkable Sabre d'Or event and the gala dinner were both spectacular and most enjoyable, the food creative and delicious.
what an amazing hotel, built in tasteful & impeccable style around the historic mansion.
we will be back !

Overall is great. Location, environment, services, room are nice and so impressive. I'm sure there is going to be the 2nd time visit to your hotel in the near future. But there is only the breakfast which was not tasty and it was too cold.

Spent 3 amazing nights at the Pillars. The staff went out of their way to welcome us and make our stay an outstanding experience. The grounds are beautifully lush and green with breath taking exotic flowers. The rooms have all the modern conveniences while feeling warm with Thailand woods and heritage. Took a cooking class with Chef Sek that was a high light of our stay in Chaing Mai. Easy short walk to riverside and ancient city. Thank you Pillars....miss your kind smiles already!

I recently stayed with my Son to attend the ceremony of the Confrerie du Sabre d'Or Thailand who elevated the restaurant of 137 Pillars House to Caveau status which means that they offer a good selection of Champagne. The stay in one of the 30 suites was delightful and so was the staff who was charming, professional and faultless throughout the experience. The attention to details is so rare these days and refreshing to see still practiced at 137 Pillars House. The Gala Dinner was also excellent. As we stayed only one night we did not have an opportunity to try out the Spa. I also don't want to mention too many such attention to details as they have to be experienced! All in all a memorable experience that we bought the book about the hotel. Thank you and well done.

Room Tip: All 30 suites are nice.
