The hotel and the room are nice, the staff is very welcoming and charming, the breakfast is great.
The staff is also helpful in organising your activities. We enjoyed the trek and the coking leason.

You feel at home !

I spent two weeks at Seven Senses and loved every minute of my stay. Each detail of the public area and rooms is lovely, and carefully chosen to convey a sense of traditional Thai culture while still being modern and ultra-comfortable. The little restaurant is a gem, and the chef has won a national cooking contest - no wonder! The menu is varied and delicious. The free breakfast allows a wide choice, and is a full meal; I lived on two meals a day while staying there.

But the best part of this place lies in Munee and her great staff, especially Noot and "Chef" (Ng). I was met each time I came back from a day away with a personal greeting and a cup of fresh juice. Munee and Noot tailored everything to my individual needs, not only giving great advice on where to go and then arranging it, but even offering to take me to a particular out-of-the-way location. And an innocent question about where to get some of the ingredients for some of Chef's amazing dishes turned into their first-ever cooking classes, which were wonderful and fun! Than Chef went to the market and bought all the ingredients I wouldn't be able to find at home, so that I could pack them along when I left.

Seven Senses is a 10-minute walk to the old city, yet feels like the countryside; it's the first time in a few years that I have been wakened by a rooster; and when sitting outdoors on the deck, you hear little besides the fountain. I can't wait to go back.

This is our second stay here. Our son goes to boarding school in Chiang Mai so we will be making many trips in the future as well. We have stayed in quite a few other places in Chaing Mai but the beautiful B & B atmosphere make it a special experience to stay here. There is a lot of attention to detail in the rooms which are all themed to different Thailand city and styles. Munnee and her staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful even before you arrive. The location is great the food is really good and the small quaint charm of the place make it a place I would definitely recommend. My mother-in-law and her friend stayed at a very nice hotel near but preferred it here due to the lovely warmth of the staff and the pleasant charm the place offer. I really look forward to another visit and stay here!

Very friendly service from Munee and the staff! Offer a lot of help in planning my trip on the spot. Located just outside the city wall in a quiet surrounding. It is an easy walk to the old town. It took me around 15 minutes walking to Nimmanhaemon Road.

I stayed in Pai room which is perfect for a solo traveler. Room setting is lovely, shampoo/bath/towels/hair dryer all provided. Breakfast is delicious too with choices of western food and thai food.

Room Tip: Each room has different setting

We just checked out from Seven Senses today and still felt it was a really great stay. We were here only for two nights, but we can feel the excellent service through out the GH. Noot, who checked in us, and helped us with breakfast, is really nice and very very helpful. She even went out of the way to help us get a "Red Car" for us. The hospitality showed by the staff over the GH made us believe this is definitely a place you should stay if travelling to Ching Mai.

Very lovely guesthouse located in walking distance of the old city.
The rooms are simple but comfortable. We had an outdoor rain shower. Friendly and hospitable staff that can help you with reservations and advise you about thing to see and do in and around Chiang Mai.
They have an in house chef who cooks delicious Thai dishes, a must try! (Same goes for continental breakfast and desserts btw)
You can also borrow bikes, but unfortunately we didn't have the time to go for a ride. Would've loved to stay longer in the city and at Seven Senses.

Munee (owner, who lives with her family in this well kept older home) and Noot, her helper, couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. "Come, sit down, tell me what you want to do." No pressure to take any tours, no prodding to do this or that, only kind assistance to see and do what we wanted.Only 7 rooms for rent, so everyone can get the help they need. Delightful small resturant is part of 7 senses. The chef is very good and shows his delight that you enjoy his food. Locals come in for meals since the food is so delicious and prices are so reasonable. This is not a shiny new luxo hotel. This a woman's home who takes pride in making you at home in Chiang Mai.The location is ideal too. Not in the middle of the old city, but a few blocks outside it.

Room Tip: The bigger (more expensive) rooms have open air showers, lovely.
