I chose this place based on exceptional reviews on TripAdvisor. However I was sorely disappointed with my stay here.
1. This place is difficult to find. We took a taxi from the airport but the driver was unable to find it, and ended up dropping us off at Tapae Gate. We had to find our own way.
2. There were 3-4 insects flying about when we arrived. A cockroach-like one in the bathroom. A moth above our bed.
3. Aircon was not the best. The first night, I was feeling extremely parched from the aircon - left me feeling quite uncomfortable.
4. Breakfast was just BAD. After the first morning, I went out for breakfast at other juice cafes.
I wouldn't stay here again, nor recommend it.

we stayed there for two nights, the location is very good close to the sunday market. The room was big and clean and had AC in it. There were hot water and very good shower-big plus for me!
The staff was friendly and helpful.
The breafest was a bit poor, but still it's a vrey good value for the money you pay for the room

I have stayed at TJR for just one night, the location is perfect, but I arrived on the Sunday night, the taxi couldn't go through the Sunday Market, and it was not easy to find the entrance of this small lane. The staff was friendly and nice, the room was clean. There is no buffet breakfast, and just one person prepared and servied, so it took a bit long time until it finished.

Great location - just steps away from the Sunday Walking Market and the night bazaar, but tucked away on a fairly quiet street. Got a junior suite for $40 on Agoda, which was quite spacious and very clean, with two balconies. The bathroom was also a good size and modern (and I'm finicky about bathrooms). Roosters start crowing around 6 am and you can hear them over the a/c, but that was fairly common just about everywhere we went in southeast Asia and it wasn't a big deal. The people at the front desk were very enthusiastic and helpful.

Only complaint is that the breakfast (which was included) was very bland - only instant coffee, and the food wasn't great. But that wasn't a big deal, and the hotel is near a few of the top brunch places like Dada Cafe, so it was a good opportunity to try out some other places!

I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends - great size and location for the price.

Istayed here during the summer and it was very nice. The staff are cheeful and helpful and it's close to the sunday walking market so that is a bonus. I like the bathtub but it wasn't installed properly so when you stand in it it's like standing on a rocky beach....with soap in your eyes. The beds are thai hard so beware. I found the price to be a little high for what you get. Other places are 100 baht a night cheaper for pretty much the same thing. Overall an great place.

Room tip: The view from the higher rooms is nice...if you like roofs.
