Ibis Styles Chiang Mai

Actually I and my friend had another reservation at other hotel quite out of town, but we decided to extend our journey in Chiang Mai so I looked up at agoda and found this great deal of All Seasons Chiang Mai (its name as of July 2012). We arrived the hotel around 9am on a Saturday, and there was room available for us. No wait! Wonderful! Unfortunately, our local friend who drove us to the hotel got a little accident with his finger in front of the hotel so Khun K, the concierge, who was at the entrance immediately brought a first aid box and helped my friend. That was so nice of him. Anyway, once we checked-in our room, I found that it was quite a big room, bright and nice. The beds were comfy, the bathroom was fine with toiletries (no bath tub). The hotel gave us WiFi password along with the key card so Internet is accessible in room. At the lobby, there was a corner providing cold water and herbal drink and something for nibble (cookies) which were very nice. We have tried cold Lemon grass drink, Bael fruit drink, and Chrysanthemum drink. All were very refreshing! There are also Internet corner (I think it's free) near the Front desk too. The breakfast was fine. There were eggs, ham, sausages. Thai style rice soup, fried rice, and fried noodles. Fresh fruits, corn flakes, fruit juice, milk, coffee & tea were also available at the buffet. Waiter Khun Doi was giving us a very friendly service that morning. There is a 7-Eleven just round the corner (back of the hotel). The hotel is near Huay Kaew road, not far from the old town and only minutes to Nimmanhemin road and Chiang Mai university. I was very much impressed by the hotel staff from Front office to Concierge, to Restaurant. They always smile and are very friendly and happy to help us in anything. I think this is a strong point for the hotel. I would definitely come back to All Seasons Chiang Mai, perhaps next time there name would be renamed to Ibis Styles already. Plus the swimming pool on the roof top soon (as I've been told)!

Room Tip: Perhaps ask for a room on a high floor, facing front road for a bit of city view. But most of the ti...

This hotel is a real bargain. The rooms are immaculately clean, come with free wifi and breakfast. Front staff at reception is very friendly, so are the rest from the staff. Breakfast caters more towards Asians, but still has an extensive spread.

As part of the Accor group of hotels, it's an Ibis Thailand type of hotel. Very convenient location, although near to a highway, and reasonably quite. The staff is very helpful and friendly. When staying they were still working on 2 extensions of the hotel, but that didnt bother us. Only points of improvement are the noisy chairs in the restaurant, difficult access to taxis (no proper walkway to the main road) and slight paint smell in the room (guess they were just renovated). But overall more value for money. The hotel has no bar or pool btw, but they were building it. This hotel will be an Ibis soon.

One of my coworkers booked 4 rooms here to accommodate us during our trip to Chiang Mai to attend the BarCamp.
The hotel is great, it looks very new and clean. The staff is very helpful and are willing to go an extra mile to help us out.
The hotel is located very close to the Chiang Mai University where the event was, it is also pretty close to some local attractions and the Chiang Mai Zoo which means we didn't have to go out of our way to get to any of the place. It's pretty easy to get to, just tell the pickup truck or tuktuk that you want to go to the new hotel.
The hotel provide frees wifi and daily breakfast for 2 per room. It still does not have much facilities, but they have ongoing constructions for more rooms, swimming pool and some more stuff.

Over all I'd recommend anyone who's planning a trip to Chiang Mai to stay here.

Room Tip: Tell the staff that you don't want to be adjacent to the new building until the construction is...

I think All Seasons Hotel is one of the best valued hotel in Chiangmai. Why is that?
- Brand new
- Best location in downtown Chiangmai
- Spacious room
- Comfortable bed and pillows
- Well designed and decoration
- Free Wifi and free breakfast
- Good services, assured by Accor's management
- Indoor carpark

all of those in the rates below 1,000 baht per night.
I think you also agree with me.

Anyway, there's a little suggestion from my wife. There should have a mirror at a dressing table. Important for ladies ;)

Room Tip: Don't choose a room at the top floor, too hot !!!
