We chose this cooking class in chiang mai as we were interested in vegetarian thai cooking and it did not disappoint!
Our teacher, who is the sister of May Kaidee who runs classes in Bangkok, took us out to her place on the outskirts of chiang mai near farms where we learned how to cook 13 different dishes in her neat outdoor kitchen.
The recipe booklet was very clear and informative and our teacher was very passionate and skilful about vegetarian cooking.
My favorite dishes were the green thai curry and tom yam soup, although the spring rolls and peanut sauce were also fun to make, as was the pad thai, and we were surprised that every dish took only 5 or 6 minutes to cook.
For dessert we made black and white sticky rice with mango and banana which was so tasty.
I am excited to go home and try these dishes.
We highly recommend this experience in Chiang Mai.
