We loved our day with Pat, learning about the culture of the hill tribes. Most enjoyable was being with a family to enjoy a freshly prepared delicious lunch. This trip more than met our expectations. We had plenty of time at the end of the trip to purchase gifts in the Bann Luan village (separate admission). Pat helped us with some bargaining. You will have to pay for a tank of gas ~600 Bhat. A very nice full day.
The day was amazing. Our guide Anan was the best, making sure we saw everything we wanted as well as some extras. He stopped for photo ops and stopped to let us feed the water buffalo.
We stopped at the Village where all tribes presented their culture as well as going further to meet individual families. It was everything we hoped for and more.

They did everything promised for 8 days seeing tribal and cultures throughout the region. Coming back next year and will use them agin.
Pat and his family were a a delight we had lots of laughs and gained so much from the day. I'm struggling to write a review as Im getting emotional thinking about it. It's early days in our return and it's snowing so thats why haha. Wish we were in chiang mai on one of pats trips instead.

We travelled with our 7yr old and wanted her to have a cultural experience. Pat and Mel super friendly, made us feel very welcome and gave us a personal insight into Northern Thailand that we simply wouldn't have experienced with other tours.
They genuinely care about the people we were taken to visit and we received a very warm welcome from everyone. We had travelled on a day trip as we weren't sure how our daughter would cope with an overnight stay but on reflection would definitely say to do the overnight trip if possible to enhance the experience.
