Pat, Anan and the entire crew were great hosts. When we thought about what we were looking for in our holiday (authenticity) we were glad we settled on this company. A private tour was perfect for our family of 7 people (ages 12-70). We wanted to show our granddaughter how the world really lives, so we set up two home stays that became the heart of our trip. Our six day excursion deliberately packed in lots of adventure which was well delivered. From Melissa's expedient office management to our guides and drivers attentive detail to our needs, we got the great experience we were hoping for. We liked that they were a small company; that they served the needs of their community with heart and were also available if we may small changes to our schedule. If you like down-to-earth authenticity rather than huge busses with dozens of people you don't know, this is the way to go.

This is one of the best tours we had and it was much better than we had expected. Entire credit goes to the team Pat and Melissa as well as our driver Toom Tam. We did the 4d/3n Mae Hong Son Loop tour (specifically made for us by Pat and Melissa due to our time constraint) and since Thailand has so much to offer from landscapes to local hill tribe experience together with a rich variety of local cuisine, given time constraint we had to be bit selective on what we wanted to see and do. From day1 Melissa and Pat ensured the tour was totally tailored as per our requirements focusing mainly on landscapes and viewpoints and local food. Pat was very accommodating and helpful and enabled us to take the tour at our own pace, yet covering all that we wanted to see. His expertise on the local cuisine was splendid and we sampled some North Thailand cuisine that we couldn't even find later in rest of Thailand, especially the Shan specialty cuisine. Knowing about our interest in local food rather than restaurants, he always took us to local food markets enabling us to discover food that we would otherwise haven't come across. And the touring experience was amazing as well including visit to the Hot springs in Huany Nam Dang National Park, watching the sunrise and sunsets at picturesque locations, boat ride in the Tham Lod Cave, rafting in river Pai upto the Myanmar border and trekking in Doi Inthanon National park. All these activities are highly recommended. Pat was also very caring especially towards my parents and helped and advised them on all the activities as he deemed fit. And a special mention to our driver Toom Tam as well for doing a splendid job in the curvy mountainous roads of Chiang Mai and always ready to lend a hand whenever we needed. Another thing that we found really amazing was the simplicity and hospitality of all the people here which was visible in Pat and Toom Tam as well. Also what we found pretty amazing was that through tourism, Pat and Melissa have been able to help and support local people as well enabling them to sell their finest quality produce to the tourists. We recommend having their fresh strawberries and strawberry wine in season, not to forget their locally grown organic coffee at Inthanon national park.

All in all it was the best experience we have had and the entire tour felt like a very natural and authentic experience. We definitely recommend them if you want to have a taste and feel of North Thailand and we ourselves plan to get in touch with them again for our next trip to North Thailand.

My wife and I had a great day with Sak who took us to see a Hmong village, a Karen village, and a banana factory. We opted to skip the tourist tribe village and head straight out into it. Sak was very knowledgeable and fun to be around. We got to see women embroidering and weaving, people building houses, and a man weaving wooden sheathes.

All in all a fantastic day out and would highly recommend booking it through this company.

Exceeded expectations and was a much needed deviation from the typical young 20-30 year old backpacker route. Ae was a great guide (and a safe driver!) and successfully fueled our coffee addiction and taught us so many things we would have never known about the plants in the area and their various uses. We had a short visit to a Karen village before heading to the Lawa village of Mae La Oop where we stayed overnight with Jom and her son (Dom) and daguhter (Email). They were incredibly kind and welcoming, and we made some amazing vegetarian green curry for dinner. Although I am unlikely to ever forget this experience, the new silver beads (custom made by the village silversmith) in my dreadlocks with the Lawa flower stamp will always remind me of Ae, Jom, Dom, Email, and all of the wonderful people I met on this trip. I hope to come back and stay for longer someday.

We went on a trip to the Hilltribes on 25th Feb with our knowledgeable Sak. Through his detailed explanation, we could appreciate the tribal cultures thoroughly. He made a great effort in showing us their way of life. In addition, he brought us to the less trodden path of the actual villages in the hilly areas, where we saw the real and less glorified version of tribal life. Toom Tam made a great effort in driving through the bumpy roads leading to the villages. We couldn't have asked more. Thank you for their service!
