“Enjoy a drink and tapas on the outside, upstairs bar - especially on a full moon”
Reviewed January 1, 2013

The Chedi is a beautiful atmosphere. A friend suggested we meet for a drink at the bar (second floor above the restaurant). The Chedi cocktails were delicious (Apple Thyme and Cheditini) and we enjoyed a few of the tapas. The night was clear and we enjoyed a beautiful view of the full moon and stars over the river Ping. This place is magical and would be recommended for both friends and couples (very romantic). We wanted to go back the second night for a repeat but the restaurant and bar were closed due to a private party (so our take away was to call in advance to confirm it is open).

“Average and Overpriced”
Reviewed December 28, 2012

First of all let me say that I am NOT cheap. I just want value for my money and you will not get it here. Another thing they should take care of in hotel restaurants in Thailand is including the 17% service charge and VAT on the Menu. Anyway,.... very beautiful location by the river and all that,... but low-end service and the food,... mmmm,.... no matter the price,... it was so-so. They try hard to make it look like a real International restaurant but they have a long way to go.

“Great meal and service”
Reviewed December 16, 2012

Really peaceful setting, just get well protected against the mosquitoes ( but staff provide you with spray just in case you forget). Good choice of 3 different styles of food so something to suit everyone and you can mix and match if you can't decide. Children are welcome but it is so quiet I think it is better suited to young teenagers up.

“Very good but a little dull”
Reviewed December 13, 2012

Food was excellent in most instances but we found the setting a little dull. On a Friday night, the restaurant was at least half empty. The bar and outdoor lounges were completely dead. We expected this to be a hopping place. Maybe everyone was a the night market.

“Best river view restaurant”
Reviewed December 9, 2012

High end dining expereince with great service, great lounging areas, plenty of greenery and space. Had the Loy Krathong festival dinner there and the set up was so beautiful, with a re-creation of an ancient lanna marketplace, Thai musicians and dancers, krathongs, sky lanterns and fireworks! Awesome.
