“Amazing French Food with Love”
Reviewed October 30, 2012

OMG, fantastic restaurant. Fresh French food. Welcoming, and abit of a change for this Aussie girl. Such a treat to find an affordable quality French restaurant with the most amazing food. For a special change from the amazing Thai food that surrounds you, this is the place. Beautiful hosts and wonderful wine. I love this place. Much love Kathryn xxx

“Mixed bag.”
Reviewed October 25, 2012

The place is a little hard to find although it's just a few meters off of the main drag of Loi Kroh.

Nice ambience, very Frenchy. Service, however was terrible. It took an hour for my food to come. Not the fault of the staff. They are simply understaffed. There was one woman serving 7 tables ranging from solos to 8. She was very very busy. They should spring for additional staff. I must say that other patrons didn't seem to be bothered but it bothered me.

The food, on the other hand, was amazing. A clean and delicious salad with mozzarela and an excellent red house wine for starters. I hadn't had frog legs in years and they were incredible with an intense sauteed garlic sauce. Really really good!!

If you're not in a hurry and want a great French meal, you won't be disappointed.

“half of party enjoyed the food and half hated”
Reviewed October 22, 2012 via mobile

small restaurant but clean. menu looked too comprehensive for effectively a one man show. my dish was terrible with chicken undercooked and swimming in butter. the guys that ordered steaks enjoyed them so perhaps that is what you should do. the service though is one of the slowest I have ever witnessed and all of the beers were warm - even brits like cold beers !!

“Nice Parisian Bistro atmosphere ... but too heavy on the butter!”
Reviewed October 8, 2012

Situated in a little alley off Loi Kroh Road, this little bistro has a nice Parisian feel to it, with four outside tables and the same inside.

Service was rather slow, but all tables were occupied when we dined, so this was acceptable.

An extensive menu of French fare, nicely presented and good portions but all dishes, both starters and main courses we had were swimming in butter, which completely overtook the taste of the food.

Prices rather expensive, compared to other French restaurants in the area.

“a touch of bistrot with the flagrances of the southwest”
Reviewed August 14, 2012

Jean Jacques cooks with same pleasure than his customers taste . We feel it. I appreciate the quiet place, friendly atmosphere and choice. Cote de porc with crème à la moutarde de Meaux (famous French mustard created by monks) is one of my favorite. Every detail counts and you will not be surprised to eat bread as it comes from boulangerie. Un regal as French say.
And cost is affordable and reasonable. Good choice for wines and spirits.
