Whoever gave this tour 1 or 2 stars are clearly competitors jealous of this amazing tour! I wish I could give it more then 5 stars! We had the best time. Arm our guide was fantastic. His English was excellent and nothing was too difficult for him to arrange for us. He made the experience feel extra special. We loved having Mr Bo Bo as our driver/celebrity photographer. Together these too had us laughing all day. We did the waterfall trek which was spectacular and would high recommend. Lanna elephant kingdom is a sanctuary where elephants are free to roam around. The elephants were cheeky and very friendly and you could tell very well loved and cared for. We got to feed, bathe and play with the elephants including baby elephant Lanna. There are also other rescues there such as cats! I loved this tour and suggest if you do anything then this is a must! I can’t wait to go back. Make sure you request Arm and Mr Bo Bo you will have the best experience of your life. I have travelled to Thailand many times and this is by far the best tour I have done!

It was a wonderful full day program , including elephants, zip line, long neck village. Arm was a great and very kind guide all day. We started the day visiting the elephants, We could feed and mud bath them, also preparing special elephant vitamin ball :) after that we had lunch there and continued our journey to zip line and long neck village. All day Arm took photos about us, gave us information about the elephants and places. Great day thank you very much!

It was just wonderful to see this beautiful animals and the employees take really good care for the 5 elephants.
And Baby Lanna was the star on this day, this cheeky little girl. Had so much fun this day feeding and bathing with the elephants.
My personal highlight was when Lannas Nanny came after dinner to us and I could feed her with some watermelon and give her water directly into the trunk.

Our experience at the sanctuary was truly amazing. The environment is beautiful and you can see that they care for these beautiful animals!
During our time there we had a chance to interact with the elephants, make and feed them healthy food, walk around the property with them, jump in and give them a mud spa that helps them keep their body temperature down and protects them from parasites and finally wash and bathe with them.
Don't miss the opportunity to come here!

If you don't speak Thai, hire Lanna Kingdom Tours to drive you to all the sites you should see in Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, the Golden Triangle, and visit their very own Elephant Sanctuary! Wonderful guides who make sure you have an incredible visit to Chiang Mai

This is definitely a "Bucket List" event. We chose the full day event with the elephants and had an excellent experience. The elephants are well cared for and the direct interaction with them is incredible. This is not a pet and shoot a picture event. You will sweat, work cutting bamboo tree's to feed to the elephants as well as giving them a mud bath and clean water wash. You will get muddy but simultaneously have the best time doing so. Baby Lanna is unpredictable and very active so be prepared for anything from spraying you with mud and water to flopping around in the river or mud bath pit. All the elephants are loving and gentle and will entertain you all day. The staff at Lanna Kingdom is exceptional and have the elephants best interest at stake. This is an event not to miss.

Mr. and Mrs. Pop take superb care of 5 rescued elephants, who are enjoying their permanent home with Lanna Kingdom Elephant Tour. The Mahouts are extremely helpful and guarantee you will have a safe and wonderful time with the elephants. First Mr. Pop teaches you about his elephants, you meet them, feed them lots of bananas, walk with them, bath them with mud in the river, make vitamin balls, wash the mud off and have a wonderful lunch. Mahout outfits and shoes are supplied along with clean changing rooms and bathrooms. We met Mr. Pop 69 years ago and couldn't wait to see his elephants. He is a wonderfully positive person and loves life. He is sure to wear off on you!

As we arrived in Thailand, we looked up several elephant retreat parks, to decide which one fit our wishes, which were visit an actual sanctuary where elephants had been rescued, a place where they are treated with respect, and dignity. We found the amazing place at Lana Kingdom. Our amazing experience began when we were picked up from out hotel and greeted by the friendly and knowledgable tour guide Arm, who on our way gave us a brief history on the Lana Kingdom park and educated us over elephant care. As we arrived at the beautiful park,we were greeted by the crew and the amazing elephants who as big and intimidating as they might look, are the most gentile and intelligent creatures. The elephants are treated with kind, appear to like where they live, and enjoyed our company . They also appeared to enjoy the mud bath and actual baths we gave them as well as feeding of their vitamin balls, which Arm and his crew taught us how to prepare. We ate a delicious veggie pad-Thai for lunch as we admired the beautiful park. After lunch we went on a search for their food, cut it and feed them. We highly recommend Lana Kingdom for an experience of a lifetime.
