“Good Peking Duck”
Reviewed January 11, 2013

The restaurant is totally lack of decor and is unwelcoming. You feel like you are in a old train station with this strongly fluorescent light, maybe there is a bit better in the second room. I didn't see that room. Actually the toilets are very clean and modern.

But fortunately the food weigh up for the atmosphere. Really good Peking Duck!
We wanted some more pancakes (and pay for it of course), but we couldn't. Then we had to order one more duck!?

Bonus for baby chair.

“Teochew Food in Thailand Chiangmai”
Reviewed January 8, 2013

This is a restaurant serving Teochew food, one of the Chinese dialects. Situated close to the Anusarn Market, one of the couples in our group had a high recommendation of this place.

We enjoyed the food there and we had quite a number of dishes although the dessert orh nee or yam paste is not what we are used to back home. Looks very little and swimming in oil.

“Cheap”
Reviewed December 31, 2012

We are 5 people and order 9 dishes and total of the bill is only 1400 baht. Good price and food taste is average. More to mainland Chinese food rather than Cantonese. Most of the taste are similar and the problem of this restaurant is the service.

“Not the familiar Chinese food we are used to back home”
Reviewed December 29, 2012

It is a Chinese (Teochew dialect) restaurant near Anusarn Market. We are Chinese and are familiar with Teochew food back home. We are not used to the food served in this restaurant.

Though the quality of food is ok, but the same food taste differently here, that includes the yam paste dessert (or nee: watery and oily), fried oyster omelette (or-luak: watery instead of dry and cripsy) and the fish head pot (had spicy taste).

If you visit, choose seats upstairs, nicer setting compared to those at level 1.
