I had heard about this place by word of mouth, and was not disappointed. We've been back several times. The food was fantastic, the service quick and the staff really friendly. It's not somewhere you'd want to sit all night as it's on a busy street, but great for a nice dinner before heading to the night markets round the corner.

The location of this restaurant can't be beat if you are at the night market. The staff speak English very well and are very professional. The prices are reasonable. We enjoyed the first night well enough. One meal was the Yellow Potatoe Curry and was great, the Green Curry was a bit too spicy even though we'd asked for only a little spice (we eat spicy at home but figured when in Thailand it might equate to only a little spicy there). But we were willing to go back again and try something else. The Pad Thai, though touted as wonderful in the menu, was in fact the worst Pad Thai i've eaten, and possibly the worst meal I had in Southeast Asia. So it seems that though many people give this place rave reviews perhaps they have specialties or it depends on who is cooking that night. Would I go back again? If i was in the area I would go one more time and I would try something else again only because so many people have had good experiences there, and I don't particularly like the other options in the nearby area like german or english food.

"No view, but tasty" is the motto of this little restaurant near the buzzing Night Bazaars - and it is true to its word.

The khao soi is very good, the thod man pla are nice and chewy little bites and the staff are efficient and friendly.
