Owner description: The Ratchaphruek Flower Gardens are a must-see when visiting the Chiang Mai area. The expansive gardens are incredibly picturesque. Bike rentals are available and, for less active travelers, an electric bus is available to take you around.

Certainly a great attraction in change mai. My wife and me walked for 5hrs and still couldn't manage to cover the whole garden. There are trams to bring u around. Definitely worth a visit, especially in the mth of Dec to Jan.

“A perfect place for a long walk.”

We live in Chiangmai and love this park. It is a wonderful place to take visiting friends for a long slow walk while enjoying the fauna of Thailand. Beautiful!

“Flower show”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 7, 2014

We were told have splendid the park was, but on arrival did not really appreciate how vast the park was, it was a hot day, luckily there are buggies available to take you around, there are numerous 'bus stops' so you can stop off and get back on at any time, but would recommend that you take an umbrella to protect you from the sun, there are places to buy food and drinks and also souvenirs are available at reasonable prices, now we know why the park has so many visitors, not only tourists but also Thais from all over Thailand

“Great place to visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 26, 2014

Enjoyed the gardens so much that I have had 3 visits here all together and never cease to find something new, changed or interesting. Is a large area so the mobility challenged may have difficulty but there is taxi tours available.
It tends to be seasonal but a good place to waste time and enjoy the sites and coffee with someone special.

“Just a huge park”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 16, 2014 via mobile

I have been there several times and when there is the flower festival is definitely a place to visit. During other times there is nothing much to see beside the temple and the orchid area. Worth only during exhibition times.
