i could not ask for more from a place to stay. the staff are amazing, relaxed friendly and very helpful. i had some teeth surgically removed and they made the recovery easy and no fuss. the room was excellent, the food amazing, and everyone was genuine and lovely. i couldn't recommend this place more higly

Room Tip: choose according to whether you like a/c or not

Everything at this place would have given it a 4/5 because it is very good in every way, but not quite excellent. The guy Jeff was really friendly and easy going who helped us out with anything we needed (including sorting out my birthday cake, thank you!). What topped it off to give it 5/5 though is the roof top jacuzzi. Nothing fancy, it's literally a jacuzzi on the roof top with a nice view over town. This just made the whole experience unique, so there, excellent!

We stayed here for a number of nights either side of being elsewhere and found it to be in a decent location, perfectly clean and tidy and all that you would need from a guesthouse. However the main selling point will always be the owners who straight from arrival were extremely friendly and helpful in anyway that they could be, couldn't recommend them more!

Great location and rooms are basic but nice. Mine even had a little balcony. Jeff who works there speaks great english and helped me book a few things at the right price. Wifi works great too!
They give you 2 bottles of water as well.

Junior Guest House is in a prime location in the centre of Chiang Mai. The rooms were very clean and spacious and the food in the guest house was amazing.

However, what made our stay there so great were the owners and the staff, who gave useful advice, arranged activities for us, and made sure that our stay there was memorable.

The guest house is great value for money, and we did not come across friendlier, more helpful hosts during our travels around south-east Asia.

Located near the North Gate, this quite guest house feels like home. The owner picked us up from the bus station and right away made us feel like we were a part of his home. They are open 24 hours with great staff during the day and night shift. The owner and his wife and daughter made us feel we were a part of the family. They helped us out with anything we needed and they were never intrusive. Great place to stay off the main street but just a little walking distance from main attraction.

Originally booked for 3 nights but ended up staying for 9. Mainly due to the fact the staff made you feel at home and part of the family. Jeff the manager is by far the best Host/Manager of anywhere we have stayed in Thailand. He is only 26 but lacks no experience, he manages with a flair and passion and is a true gent. We paid £9 a night for a a/c room with hot shower and double bed. Yes the room is basic but for the price it was superior to what we expected. Whilst staying there was me and my gf. Mid 20s, a couple of families with young children. An older couple 40ish and a group of backpackers. As you can see it caters for everyone. Great location everything is within walking distance if you don't mind walking for 30mins (longest walk) but most attractions are much closer. The Thai food is also very good, laundry at 30baht a kilo ready within 24/hours. Again a great place for people from all walks of life made extra special due to the family who run it.
