Siripanna villa resort & spa Chiang Mai was an absolutely perfect choice for our Honeymoon!
Both my husband & I described it as both peaceful & tranquil.
Siripanna offers a luxury contempory Lanna elements throughout the establishment. It also offers clean, comfortable spacious rooms with above and beyond service!
Every single inch of the room was tidy, clean and detailed!! The furniture completed the room. We stayed in the Deluxe Lanna room which had a modern, yet warm feel to it. The day bed beside the window was a perfect touch and the completely tiled bathroom and the amazing art works also contributing to the theme.
The bed was comfortable, however could improve slightly to give that dream like cloud wrapping effect.

The service was fantastic!!! A number of staff recommendation go to Pond, Wana, Tan & Nana! The staff went above & beyond for us during our stay. I have never experience this sort of exceptional service anywhere in all my travels. Siripanna, you have an amazing crew of staff members, they are so engaging, friendly, supportive and fantastic for local information – well done!
I read a lot of reviews prior to choosing to stay at Siripanna villa resort. Where I was very much in 2 minds about booking. I feel some people critique this amazing hotel unfairly. There are a lot of mosquitoes but look at the place it is a tropical paradise with water features everywhere, prevent getting bitten by spraying yourself! But in saying that mosquitoes are everywhere in Chiang Mai, at the Airport, in taxis and shops so it not limited to just the hotel.
During our stay they notified us that they will be completing their routine pest control for mosquitos. Siripanna also have mosquito’s coils burning. We also brought some insect spray for the room as I am a feeding machine for mosquitos. I also recommend going to the chemist for cream and anti-itching medication if it gets too much for under 300B
Breakfast has is amazing and the choices are endless. The egg bar is always a winner for me.
Lunch – Siripanna villa resort & spa offer a business lunch for 189B which is fantastic. Again the choices are endless and offer Asian and western influenced meals. Lunch seems very popular for outside customers to come and dine here.
Happy Hour – BRILLIANT IDEA!! Between 4pm – 6pm buy 1 get the same cocktail for free, great value! As well as afternoon snacks supplied, sensational idea!
Dinner – we didn’t dine at the hotel. We ate at the Night Baazar
** There is an eco-friendly option, if you place the designated tag on your door each morning to opt not to have your room made up, Siripanna will credit you a 100B per day. A little incentive! I accidently stumbled across it upon checking out.
Transportation – Taxi’s and tuk-tuk readily available from reception. Siripanna offers a shuttle service to the Night Baazar but is limited to 8 guests per trip, so be sure to speak to the staff. The hotel offers a pickup service from the Night Baazar, where you are dropped off at 7.30pm & 8.30pm but it’s only about 150B to get back to the hotel.
The hotel offers a really great cooking class, both Hubby & I enjoyed it! We both really enjoyed our stay here and would 100% recommend this too ALL my family and friends and we will definitely be returning to Siripanna villa resort & spa!!

Room Tip: Rooms are very large and spacious!

Wonderful hotel a little out of the downtown of Chiang Mai. The hotel was beautiful, we were presently surprised with an upgrade when we arrive. The breakfast offered a variety of options from an omelet station, fresh fruit, a congee section, several dim sum options, 10 plus hot dishes mix western and thai, freshly baked pastry, juices and fresh coffee. The pool was nice after a long hot day with plenty of beach chairs to lounge around in. The room was keep clean and they provide complementary water to wash you teeth/ drink for travelers. Additionally, they provide a tuk tuk into town which saves you a 100 thb.

We stayed two nights in april 2014 before we started our northern thailand roundtrip. Via e-mail we booked the pick-up service from the airport, which worked perfectly. We had booked the cheapest room category and were upgraded to a Grande Deluxe Lanna - a lovely, very spacious room with a sunken huge bathtub and lots of wood...This is a very beautiful, enchanting hotel - Lanna style in a tropical garden with a very relaxing pool. Pool landscape is very interesting, designed as an island with an artificial "river" around. The stuff was very helpful and friendly, especially Pui from the reception desk. She even booked us the car for our trip and got it cheaper than we would have via internet. If you want to go into town in the evening they call a regular tuck-tuck, which arrives 5 minutes later (I stress this as in another Chiang Mai 5 star hotel they only agreed to transport us by their own taxi service, which was overprized..). Trip into town only took about 10 minutes. Breakfast was very tasty and so much to choose from, it overwhelmed us. Especially the thai dishes for breakfast were a delight (try the fish sauce!). We did not have dinner in the hotel, but went to town in the evening. Compared to other hotels it is also very positive that the hotels takes care of the moskitos and sprays regularly to keep them down - the spraying is announced in advance. Again in another hotel in Chiangmai they did not and moskitos were a nightmare, so taking care of it is worth mentioning! Overall: Highly recommended!

I have never written a review for any of the hotels that I've stayed in (and I travel a lot for business and pleasure), but this one deserves an exception. The grounds are beautiful, rooms are large and comfortable, and above all, the customer service is amazing! The hotel staff, especially Pui, Jaa, and Phueng, took care of us from the moment we checked in to the time we left. They are so nice and welcoming. The hotel is a five minute drive from the old city, but that's a good thing because you will want to escape the hustle and bustle (and the April heat!) of the city after a busy day, and relax by the pool. Don't miss the 2-for-1 happy hour specials. Enjoy your stay!

Nice and clean hotel, friendly staff. Stayed in a suite and the room was excellent and of good size with a large sunken bath which was prefilled and decorated with flowers upon our arrival. Facilities are good but the gym is a bit small with poor equipment. Regular free hotel transport to the night markets, bars, restaurants and the town centre. Only had breakfast in the hotel restaurant but it was very good. Didn’t try a buffet night but they seemed popular and were very fairly priced.
Overall our stay was highly enjoyable and we had a very relaxing and quiet few days start to our holiday before moving on elsewhere. I would recommend it but if I were to visit Chiang Mai again I would stay nearer town.
A downside for me was there are no shops nearby to grab a snack or a few beers. The porters are happy to take you to the nearest 7/11 if they aren’t busy but for some (who like me don’t like to pay minibar prices) this may be an issue. Also a word on the “free WiFi” promised. It is indeed free but is only free in the hotel lobby, elsewhere in the hotel you have to pay for it at a cost of 200 baht per day or 1000 for the week. It’s hardly a prohibitive cost but I think when paying this sort of price for a room it should be at least included in the room rate at the minimum, should really be free considering it is free at most bars and restaurants that are often little more than shacks.
