This property oozes Thai charm, from the foyer and pool area to the wonderful staff. We stayed in the building behind the villas, no complaints, the room was lovely. but for the extra money, if you were spending a lot of time around the resort, I would ask to be put in a villa opposite the pool. We were not disappointed with our room which had a balcony overlooking bamboo trees and the rooftop of the villas. The foliage around the pool area is lush and calming. The property is on the outskirts of the Old City, but still only a quick and very cheap ride into the main shopping areas. (10 mins).
The breakfast is good, but not excellent, however they do serve great lattes and cappucinos as standard breakfast coffee if you ask. The outdoor breakfast area needs a little TLC, and a little imagination to bring it up to standard, but it didn't spoil our stay.

Room Tip: Deluxe rooms do not have pool views, although they do have lovely green foliage or a pond in front o...

Beautiful resort. Beautiful room. Our stay in Chiang Mai was all we could have asked for, in large part to the staff and the excellent service we received. From the moment we stepped through the open air space of their beautiful lobby, to the moment we said our goodbyes, Siripanna really made us feel attended to and cared for. The concierge staff was so helpful (and friendly, sweet, and kind), and set us up with an English-speaking taxi driver, who we ended up using for several of our day trips. Though the resort isn't a convenient walking distance to the Old City, it's pretty easy getting there via shuttle or tuk tuk, which we didn't mind doing at all. The pool area is pretty large, with wide, large lounge chairs. The young man working the pool area appeared to only speak Thai, which made ordering drinks and food a bit challenging, since we were limited to pointing and using hand gestures in communicating with him. The breakfast buffet in the morning was simply excellent, and was the best we'd had out of all the other 5 star resorts we stayed at during our vacation through Thailand. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, though I wish the counter space in the bathroom was larger. They have a small onsite fitness center, which has treadmills, a stationary bike, and weights. Overall, we loved our stay and highly recommend staying here.

It was a surprise to find a villa right at the city centre.....only a few minutes ride to the famous night bazaar. Besides the location, the staff are really friendly and helpful not to mention the villa's room and all others' facilities. I stayed in a villa room for two nights though no private swimming pool for it yet was very amazed and got myself relaxed by the sunken bathtub after a full day activities. The room rates is the main reason I booked this resort compared to the international brand charged to the same room type. I'd really enjoy staying at this hotel resort.

Room Tip: Pick the villa at the far end.

The highlight of our 2 week long trip to Thailand was this beautiful hotel tucked away amongst farms and rolling hills in the beautiful city of Chiang Mai. true to its culture , the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were large, clean and neat. The food was perfect. They managed vegeterian food for us with no fuss. Full marks on all counts !

Out of the way but close enough to get into the fray quickly by shuttle or cheap tuk tuk. A boutique place with a great breakfast, willing to please staff and a great concierge service which will arrange anything and did for us at a good price.

The hotel organised our Night Safari visit and the Tiger Kingdom shuttle both at competitive prices. The hotel also had a daily shuttle to markets and the Bazaar.

The pool is great with wide lounges. 2:4:1 drinks from 4pm until 6pm with nice snacks. The wine and dine inclusive menu seems like good value even though we didn't partake.

We would easily decide to stay again. Room are big, as are the bathrooms. Be sensible about insects and the room verandah is nice for reading in the quiet pool and jungle setting.

Room Tip: Ground floor rooms are on private pool vernadahs which look into jungel foliage.

The first impression wasn't too bad, was given cold rice juice upon arrival and a cold towel to begin with.

Room was huge but was adviced by the staff not to open the door to the outdoor yard due to mosqito.
Even without opening the door, mosqito can be found in the room as well. The control of pests in the resort wasn't good at all. The in room burner doesn't really keep the pest out. I been to other resorts and I am able to dine peacefully outside the yard without being bitten.

Lizards and other pests make hell lots of noise during the night, this is definitely not a place for the light sleeper. Pillow is a little too soft, had stiff neck in the morning.

Toilet is great, with separate shower and bath but toiletries was miserable and wasn't spa like enough for a spa resort.

No iron board in the room.

Spa is quite expensive.

Location is out of the place, there is nothing outside the resort, need a transport out wherever you need to go.

My wife and I had a wonderful time in Siripanna Villa Resort & Spa! The resort's service attitudes are world class and we were treated truly like royalty. The hotel staff arranged for a birthday cake delivered to my room knowing that it is my birthday. The breakfast spread is excellent (both international and local) and of very very decent quality. The rooms are large with comfortable beds and a very well appointed bathroom! The bathtub is big and you can literally fit 2 mid sized persons in it. Overall an excellent experience we had in Siripanna! Absolute value for money considering we only paid like USD130 per night for a resort of such class.
