We stayed at Siripanna for 4 nights in May. My initial contact was made via email to book a room, and even when having to delay our stay by 1 week, the email response was always gracious. We were offered complimentary airport transfer which was most welcome-- especially the fact that it was private - (have had bad experience waiting forever on a few shared hotel shuttle services before!). Our driver, A-Yhi, was already waiting on us after our flight from Bangkok, and was very welcoming and helpful, with good English that immediately oriented us to the city. The professional and warm initial welcome by the front desk reception (Kate) was outstanding, and we were most grateful for the sweet rice welcome drinks. The hotel currently has a 39Baht per dish lunch menu, which we had on arrival (very tasty & great value, esp for market-hesitant Western tummies!) and again during our stay.
Our room was the Deluxe Lanna - it was more than ample space for 2, tastefully decorated, lovely teak tones, California king bed (my partner says he had some of the best rests ever!) recliner, AC, TV, and bathroom with shower and separate tub; and lovely little patio with a recliner. The entire hotel is in the Lanna style and very well-appointed. Mature trees, flowers & shrubs, good use of water (fountains, the infinity lap pool), rice fields - all make for a very interesting experience!
I did not intend for us to really use the hotel as a 'resort' (i.e. intended to just be in the hotel to sleep/eat after sight-seeing), but Siripanna's grounds and atmosphere is so peaceful & relaxing, we couldn't help but spend some amount of time in the pool and just lounging around our room.
The highlight of Siripanna, apart from its outstanding room & grounds is the service of the staff. Literally ALL of staff members are extremely genuinely polite and very willing to assist on any request - from laundry, to internet, to tours, to tips for specific places to visit around town. They seem to take a genuine, individual pride in their hotel and its service/quality -- which is very different from the majority of Western hotel staff! We booked an evening cooking course, a 1/2 day tour to Doi Suthep as well as a full day tour to the Golden Triangle, with the assistance of Aof, Ying, Kate (and others whose names escape me). We really enjoyed these tours - all very professionally selected & comfortable, with knowledgeable guides. We thought these were fairly priced. We paid directly in THB to the tour company (so make sure to walk with enough cash!) To get into the old city and around town, the hotel has a complimentary shuttle in the morning and can call a tuk-tuk or taxi (100-150THB) at other times; and also does a complimentary drop-off to the weekend night markets - very handy! We also ate in the restaurant for a couple of dinners as well as our included breakfast buffet - all delicious.

We must mention that Aof, and others, were also really informative about Thai history, culture and even current affairs! The more places we visited while we were in Chiang Mai, the more questions we had about this special part of Thailand - and the staff were never dismissive or abrupt about our perhaps naive questions, but took the time to share with us about their home. It was fantastic! Siripanna's HR/managers must really be complimented on their choice of staff, as this factor really made our visit stand out.

We have stayed in 5 star to 3 star hotels around the world and Siripanna stands out as one of the top hotels we have ever stayed in, with great value for money and excellent service.

I can't help but rave about this place! Definitely a wonderful stay and would really hope to visit Siripanna again! Thank you for an amazing time!

From the warmest welcome when you arrive you know this hotel is something special .The staff were so helpful and friendly always smiling and could not do enough for you to make your stay an absolute pleasure . T he rooms were spacious and very well maintained i think every time we went out someone woulod go in and make sure the bed was made perfectly and always the leaf on your pilow at night from the cleane wishing you a good night jsut a small touch but i think made you feel a little happier just knowing that they were taking care of you . Now where to start with the food breakfast buffet style and you think ok another buffet half cold but no not here everything was cooked to perfection and a variety of dishes more than anywhere i have stayed .Lunch and dinner service and food was first class . The facilities at the hotel were great the swimming pool is something to be seen on its own and the gardens and surrounds were visualy stunning .So i raise my glass to the staff for making us feel special everyday and i know i will be back at this hotel on my next trip to Chiang Mai

Room Tip: There are no bad rooms they are all emaculate

Amazing! The Siripanna experience is exquisite. The lobby's aesthetics strikes you as soon as you walk in. The lighting coupled with the fragrant flora aroma seems like a warm hug that says, "Welcome to Thailand." They provide a sweet tea and wash towels that are scented. Its as if they made sure to tantalize all your senses from the start.

What I remember the most about Siripanna was the customer service!! Just can't be beat!! There is a genuine sense of wanting to your experience to be the best that it can be that exudes from each of the workers. Even the smallest request is followed through to make sure that you find what you're looking for. For the past couple of nights they even left a small and flower arrangement on our bed that wished us a Good Night.

Just look at the pictures of the hotel, they are obviously beautiful. But let's just say that the most beautiful pictures doesn't do this hotel's beauty justice. When you stay here (do yourself a favor and make sure you stay here while you're in Chiang Mai), make sure to make time to walk the grounds. The back fields are beautiful, even at night when it is lit up with lamps.

To sum it up, there is a reason why this place has a 100% rating!!!! I would go back to Thailand just to stay at Siripanna.

I just got back from a trip to Thailand with my friends. We stayed at Siripanna for four days while we were in Chiang Mai. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and amazed by the luxury of this hotel at such a decent price.

During our stay in Chiang Mai, we were busy the whole day doing activities like ATV, elephant trekking, going on the Golden Triangle tour, and ziplining. It was so nice to go back to such a relaxing, beautiful room at Siripanna after a long day. The deluxe room is spacious, the beds and sheets were soft, the bathroom had a tub and shower, and there was also a balcony. The grounds of Siripanna are aesthetically pleasing and clean. The staff is very kind and professional and always greeted us in passing. They went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable during our stay. Our only regret is not being able to stay in Chiang Mai and Siripanna longer!

Upon arriving at the hotel the customer service was excellent. We were checked in very quickly and greeted with a warm welcome and welcome dri nk. Our room was just as the photos on the website. The grounds were beautiful and it was nice to wander around the grounds. The pool was lovely to swim around. Breakfast had a great selection of choices. We used the Spa for a manicure and my partner had a relaxing soak in a huge bath. The hotel is a little bit away from town but was not a problem for us as we hired a motorbike through the hotel. Also, we used the hotel shuttle bus to get into the night bazaar and returned by tuk tuk. You need to negotiate hard - the cheapest journey was 60 baht and the most expensive was 100 baht which is nothing. The only negative point I would have about the hotel is that the wifi is not free. There are two computers which you can use free of charge but I could imagine that when the hotel is busy that they would be busy. I would recommend the following restaurants - The Riverside, the Good View, Whole Earth, Duke's (not the one in the night bazar) and the Red Lion. Lots of places to visit and we enjoyed Chiang Mai. If you choose this hotel for your stay in Chiang Mai you will not be disappointed. Thank you Siripanna. Susie

From the airport pick up to the lush gardens this place more than delivered. The staff were some of the friendliest and helpful we have ever experienced anywhere. They even surprised me with a beautiful Birthday cake, once they found out the reason for our visit. The rooms where beautiful and kept perfectly clean every day. We liked that the resort was not right in town as every time you return from a short trip into the busy center of town it felt like you were returning to your private sanctuary. The food was great also and loved the breakfast each morning, always greeted with a smile and excellent service. Every night we received a flower and a "good night" message which was placed on our bed which also added to the welcoming feeling the staff and the hotel gives you. The pool was beautiful, peaceful and a great place to relax. Although we are lucky enough to live in a beautiful country, when we arrived home we missed Chiang Mai which we believe the Siripanna played a large role in. We will definitely return to the Siripanna and recommend it to anyone visiting Chiang Mai.
