We spent two nights at the Sirilanna in January. The luxury room was lovely with a large bed, beautiful bathroom, large shower and nice linens throughout. It was a pleasure to come back to the room to relax before dinner.

Breakfast was fine--eggs cooked to order, but we found ourselves eating elsewhere the next morning. We agree with other comments about the tour lady. We wanted a driver for four hours to take us where we wanted to go. The driver was very nice, but took us to places we were not interested in like a gem store. We assume they get kickbacks for each customer they bring. Book a driver on your own.

Absolutely lovely rooms and beautifully decorated in Lana style with carved furniture and gold gilt edged paintings. There was 6 in our party and we had 3 Deluxe Twin rooms each with a large veranda so we could enjoy the views over the pool.Rustic feel to the bathroom with a spa and separate shower, folding timber windows separated the bathroom from the bedroom. Lovely pool setting with towels provided. It's also nice to have a choice in menu for breakfast and served to you at your table. Great location in the Old Quarter. This was our most expensive location in SE Asia but definitely worth it. Also free airport transfers and friendly helpful staff.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on a higher floor to get view of pool and Old Quarter.

This hotel was a haven for us in Chaing Mai. We stayed a week and thoroughly enjoyed being here. Location is excellent, close to the night market and the Sunday walking street market, plus all the temples, and away from the seedier parts of town.

The room was beautiful (we had a business jacuzzi room) with an enormous bathroom and spa tub. Air Con worked perfectly. We had an extra bed for my 14 year old son which he found very comfortable. The standard of bedding was excellent and very clean.

There were only a couple of things which stopped this being a five star review. One was the breakfast. It was reasonable but never seemed fresh enough, and it was a concern how long some of the dishes were left standing with no cover on, and the eggs appeared like they my be an hour or two old. The other thing was the tour lady in the hotel, she did a fairly pressurised sales pitch trying to get us to go on tours which she would book. We actually like doing our own research and we had a private taxi driver who our friends had referred us to so we didn't want the hotel to do our bookings. She made us feel a bit uncomfortable when she realised we'd booked a tour directly rather than through her. The staff were generally lovely although at times seemed a bit apathetic, sitting around on their mobile phones in the background. This is not a criticism though as they did everyone we asked for quickly and politely, just thought they might be a bit more proactive.

All in all I thoroughly recommend this place for couples and families alike. I think you'd probably struggle to find a better and more charming hotel for the same price. Go ahead and book!

We booked this hotel based in trip advisor reviews and were so impressed. The hotel is very well maintained and the decor is lovely. The staff are fantastic and cannot do enough to help you. We were given a complimentary upgrade on arrival which was a nice surprise. The hotel's location is excellent, a short walk to the bars and restaurants which is nice because it is 2/3 minutes walk and means that you have a lovely quiet location without being too far away. We were leaving the hotel to go on an overnight trek and were returning the following day so the hotel staff kept all of our bags safe and even looked after our passports in their manager's safe so that we didn't have to take everything with us. The breakfast is also very good.

Room Tip: Don't book any excursions with the tour lady inside the hotel. We asked her for a taxi to go to...

about 20mins from the airport.
located about 10min walk from the old wall of the city.
situated near a lot of restaurants, and massage shops (clean); not close to the bar area so the area is pretty quiet and good for families with children.
the room was beautiful with a grand 4 post wooden bed... bath room was just amazingly big like a room of its own with a big spa tub, had a balcony which over look the swimming pool area, and at night time we could see all the lanterns released in the sky from the river...
Romantic get away...

The breakfast was disappointing though with either a choice of English or Asian breakfast with neither one of them look very appetizing. but then, who eats at hotel when you travel to Thailand :)

Nice boutique style hotel , very Thai style and enhances the experience of being in Chiang Mai. Very accommodating staff. They provided a pak n' play crib which was great. Nice bathroom amenities. Airport shuttle was key. Small staff which made this a familiar experience. Walking distance to Wat Chedi Luang. Would consider staying again.

Room Tip: first floor is best if you have small kids. easy access in and out and the pool is right outside you...
