We stayed four nights at the Hotel Sirilanna and loved it! The hotel is very new and is kept extremely clean. Within walking distance to many restaurants and sites and if not, it's only a 50 Baht Tuk-tuk ride away (night market for example).

You were allowed to choose anything off the menu for breakfast in the morning and we ate everyday outside by the pool. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and they helped us set up a tour of Doi Inthanon National Park (which I recommend) as well as a Thai Cookery School. Complimentary shuttle to the airport in a modern minivan, right next to the Sunday Night Market...incredible!

Stay here!

Very friendly and helpful staff. The finishes of the rooms far exceeded my expectations. Lots of teak wood. Spacious. Nice pool. Great location away from busy tourist area but still quite accessible. I can't emphasize enough what a pleasant stay we had and i am looking forward to going back next year when my family comes out for a visit.

Wow we had 5 night at the Sirilanna and wished it was longer. The rooms are beautiful just like the staff. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The four poster bed [and very comfortable] to the jacuzzi are just amazing. The breakfast is wonderful. You can sit inside or out and be waited on like a king and queen. The pool is lovely and cool unlike some that are quite tepid. The furniture is lanna style which gives you the real feel of Thailand. We were upgraded on arrival to a larger room although they are all the same...just beautiful. You can walk to the Sunday walking markets and night bazaar or take a tuktuk. There are plenty of restaurants close by and a fantastic jeweller just up the road on the left who is very reasonable and reliable. The staff are the best I have encountered in all my travels and I hope to get back here one day to enjoy this perfect paradise.
Well done to the wonderful staff who make this a memorable experience.

My husband and I stayed in Sirilanna Hotel while we were holidaying in Chiangmai and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chiangmai. Location was good and lots of restaurants around it. Walking distances to most places (if u dont mind walking) or tuk tuk is always around. Sofia and her staffs are the most friendly and helpful people and always willing to help with a smile. Breakfast was really good, not buffet, but we had a choice from the menu. Sofia booked all our tours for us and they were very good. Rooms were huge and very Thai as the hotel is mainly designed and build with teak wood and glass and its so so beautiful. Even the rooms were so Thai decorated and huge that it makes u feel like u are living in a palace room, absolutely beautiful. Service were great and everyone there were very friendly. Will absolutely recommend anyone to stay in this hotel, even with kids, rooms are spacious.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Business Room and its beautiful

The best couple of nights of my stay. Delightful friendly staff who didn't look down at a slightly grubby traveller, beautiful unique rooms that weree not some generic hotel, wonderful four poster beds - would be a wonderful place to go with a partner - very romantic! Small pool, lovely breakfasts, gorgeous bathroom... Amazing night.

My husband and I were shocked at just how nice our room was at the Sirilanna. We were upgraded to one of the nicest rooms in the hotel for free without explination, and the furniture and facilities were 5 star quality. The staff was attentive and friendly, and the location was perfect for walking around Chiang Mai. For the price, the room was incredible and we were very pleased with our stay.

This hotel is only two years old but built in a traditional Thai style. From the moment we arrived the lobby is jaw dropping and the smiles of welcome genuine. We were greeted with a cool drink and a friendly lady who turned out to be the owner's daughter. In fact all the staff we met were family and it shows in the pride and care and service.

We mentioned that we wanted to visit the Tiger Kingdom that afternoon and do the elephant/rafting trip the following day and we were shown brochures and trip itineraries immediately and within 15 minutes we had a taxi booked to pick us up for the Tiger Kingdom 20 minutes later and a tour organised for the next day.

We were then shown to our room - WOW! We had the most gorgeous room I have ever been in, complete with four poster bed, the most amazing furnishings, a luxurious bathroom complete with jacuzzi and a huge walk in shower. Attention to detail was paramount: a bowl of fresh fruit, a fridge stocked with fruit juices and water and everything was clean, perfectly decorated and tasteful.

Later that afternoon we tried the pool which was in a tropical courtyard surrounded by lush plants etc. Towels were provided. The pool area was very pretty and we later had pre-dinner drinks under a decorative canopy on comfortable cushions.

We were told of markets and places to eat and see that evening with directions etc.

The next day we had a wonderful breakfast on the pool terrace outside our room and were able to leave our bags while we went off on our trip. When we got back the owner encouraged us to visit the Sunday market at the end of the road whilst we waited for our complementary mini-bus to the airport.

Nothing seemed too much trouble - we even got to look in the honeymoon suite, their sense of pride is justified! Already we plan to return to this very hotel - that very room if possible!!
