This review is way overdue. My boyfriend and I stayed here in December, 2008 for a few nights. Our first time to Chiang Mai - we were welcomed at the airport by a host and hostess from the hotel and were treated like royalty from that moment on. They took great care to show us to the perfect room for our needs. Very comfortable, intricately decorated, extremely clean, and over and above in-room amenities. The grounds (pool, sitting area, etc) were so relaxing and soothing especially after long days of adventures. Subtle, simply luxury. Breakfast was full of healthy options and delicious Thai specialties served pool-side. All of this welcoming service was all balanced with the perfect amount of privacy. Although we encountered a few language barriers, we were helped tremendously with planning day-trips, dinners, and transport to and fro. We found the location to be perfect - tucked away on a side street, but just around the corner from all main streets and within walking distance to all central city Chiang Mai must-experiences. In sum: can't believe we have taken this long to share a stellar review of our wonderful stay here. We would - without question - return to stay here on our next visit.

We were very impressed with this hotel. Our room was beautiful and spacious. The staff was incredibly friendly and formal. I recommend this hotel to everyone I know traveling to Chiang Mai. It was a great value, and close to lots of temples and restaurants.

I stayed here with my friend for 3 nights. When we arrived, we were impressed to have a cool and tasty welcome drink (mango juice with apple crunch!!!) and a fresh flower necklace. The staff here were friendly. My friend and I didn't know the way and only got a travel guide and the staff helped us to check how to go there and phoned the company to confirm the booking before we went. When the tuk-tuk driver got lost at midnight, we phoned the staff and they were very patient to talk to the driver and went out of the building and waited for us to arrive. But they were still friendly.

It's a beautiful and elegant building located in a village (near Chiang Mai Gate ( just 5-min walking distance). The lobby was cozy - didn't look like the commercial or big hotel.
There was a small swimming pool and the decorations were colorful and with modern thai style. The guestroom was very clean and cozy. The breakfast was cool here - we sat near the pool and had the food we'd chosen. Big and tasty food - especially the coffee.

It's excellent for people who want to have a comfortable and homey place to stay in Chiang Mai but not too far away from the markets. Can walk to Thapae Gate as well from the hotel but it took 20 minutes.

We felt very safe and homey here during our stay here.
We could feel the staff in the hotel servng the guests from their hearts. Everything here is very precise and well matched. HIghly recommend to all people but not those bringing children to Chiang Mai.
