What a great place. 30 minutes to walk to town if you have a good pace. Always a cab outside too. Staff is fantastic!!! Both pools are sparkling clean and salt water. The breakfast is unbelievable. Stayed here 6 nights and would always stay here if I come back to Chiangmai. Everyone I talked to would definitely stay here again.

I stayed in this hotel for 6 nights in November 2015. Initially, I thought it was a little bit further from town than I would've liked. However, I soon welcomed the idea of going home to a lovely quiet location away from the noise. It is only a 10 minute tuk tuk ride into the centre of town for approximately 100 baht. The train station is also only a 5 minute walk down the road. Also, there is no problem getting transport right outside the hotel. The hotel has 2 pool areas (I only used the one near the front entrance). This area is not large, and is overlooked by the restaurant, but it was never crowded and quite peaceful. The staff were lovely and very helpful. I arrived early on an overnight bus and they kindly provided me with some breakfast and drinks while my room was being prepared. I stayed in a superior room, which was lovely. Everything was clean and spacious. I had a small balcony overlooking the 2nd pool and the bed was very comfortable. I used the spa a couple of times and it was fantastic. The food at the restaurant was ok, but I much preferred to eat out in town. Overall a great stay and I would stay again.

This hotel is calm in the middle of noise. You really do feel like you are in a tropical paradise here. When I arrived from the train station at 8am, my room was not available and I was offered a place to crash until it was. I decided to chill in the lobby and use the free wifi and about an hour later, they brought me complimentary toast, juice and coffee for my wait. Check-in time wasn't until Noon, but I thought this was a very sweet gesture. The restaurant is good for both Thai and Western meals. The spa is also nice to have right on the premises. A Thai massage is a must after temple walking all day! Overall, a very nice place to spend a week, as I did!

Very friendly staff, but horrible room and location. Down an alley with no amenities nearby. Bed was rock hard and dirty. Windows wouldn't close, mosquitos everywhere. AC will make you sick. Stayed in the room for 5 minutes before checking out and booking a different hotel.

It's a decent 15 minute cab ride into the city, which was about 120 baht one way. There are a few small convenient stores near the hotel, but otherwise it's a bit out of the way. Which makes it quiet, at least.

We stayed in a boutique room, which was spacious and clean. The bed was a bit too firm for my tastes, but that just seems to be the norm in Thailand...

The staff are great though, really nice waiters at the restaurant (which does a nice pad thai) and reception staff booked us into a good Doi Inthanon tour.

Other than location, my main complaint is that the photos on their website felt a bit misleading; the grounds and pool area look a lot smaller in real life, the photos had me thinking it was a bit more expansive. But it's all clean and well presented.
