We stayed here for 5 nights and cannot complain at all! We checked in quite late but that wasn't a problem, we had eggs and toast every morning (complimentary) which set us up for the day! They are very informative when it comes to sightseeing and tours and dont try and rip you off !!! Free wifi and bik hire also. Value for money cannot be beaten.

A little bit out of the town centre but still plenty of eating places, shops etc. 5 minutes and 20 bhat and you in the old city. Very friendly staff who will help arrange all your trips and tours etc and not rip you off. Rooms are basic but cleaned everyday. Cheap!! Hot showers. Free wifi and internet. Eggs and toast for breakfast.

Lovely people, very basic rooms but great value for money. Staff amazing, speak excellent English, always wanted to help. One of the staff, took us on a tour to Mae Sa Elephant Camp, he was so knowledgeable and it was a fantastic stay. Would recommend this anytime, and would definitely stay here next time we come to Chiang Mai. You can go anywhere in town from here for less than 100 baht. Recommend a visit to the night bazaar for lots of bargains and for food have a meal at The Kitchen - thai and western food, cheap and very good.

Trekker camp has to be the best place I have stayed in Thailand, the staff were amazing always so Friendly and helpful, every morning they cooked us an amazing breakfast, (for free) and offered us fruit and tea and coffee, the rooms are clean and spacious and even with out air con and only a fan it was airy and cool enough, a comfortable temp, such good value for its price.

This place may not be central but it's the best place I have stayed in Thailand. The staff really made it for me and my friends, they are so caring and speak good English. Lovely free breakfast in the morning, and great day trips to tiger kingdom, orchids garden and temples all for 50 baht!
Can't say how much I enjoyed it!

We booked this guesthouse, because it was the cheapest.
The room was nice and clean, and 20 mins walk to night market.

We stayed here for 5 nights and were really impressed for such a cheap guesthouse. Ended up paying about £2.30 a night including free breakfast which included fried egg, toast, butter, jam and tea/coffee! The staff were so lovely and helpful here and brought us fresh fruit and bottles water on arrival. Also when we did a 2 day 1 night trek they let us leave our bags there and even kept them in the their house for safekeeping ill we returned. Only downside to this place is the fact it's quite far out from the main city. A tuk-tuk wasn't much though and they're always around at the end of the road. Do bring the address though as we found not many people knew where it was!
