what can i say: we love this place. the whole staff is wonderful, the location at the river is perfect for us. i could stay there for weeks. khun prae and here staff are amazing and everybody is simply nice and lovely. the rooms are big with a nice bathroom and i love to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view. a small pool is also there, big enough for a short dip to cool off after a visit to the city etc.
you will always get the best recomandations from khun prae for a restaurant, activities, spas & massages,....
will come back, hopefully this winter

Room Tip: request a room with river view

Four of us stayed at the Villa for nearly a week, during our recent school break. We were able to relax, visit Chiang Mai, eat amazing food and have a great time at this gorgeous little hotel. The hostess, Prae, was so helpful and made our stay memorable. Wish we could have stayed longer...

The staff here are genuinely interested in you having a good experience in Chiang Mai, they are so helpful and took such good care of us during our weeks stay with them. This was our best week out of our month traveling throughout Thailand. The peaceful river garden oasis was so beautiful and the rooms impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. I am a fussy person and I could not find one thing negative about this place. We liked that it was not in the noisy city center so it was quiet but you could go into town easily anytime if you wished, I would guarantee anyone staying here would enjoy every moment!! Thanks for a wonderful holiday!!!

Room Tip: 2nd floor overlooking the river and garden, nice and bright, bottom floor is dark.

we loved it so much that we did not even go to Chiang Mai for 5 days! And stayed there longer than we were supposed to! A tiny pool but adequate but is the family feel and the staff that make it so special! Right on the river so you can get to town in vogue (briliantly the Villa is just out of town) for the Sunday Market or the evening meal. highly recommened, I wish I could go back now!

Wow! What a place! This place looks beautiful on the website but its even better once there! Yes simple but my goodness beautiful and perfect for a stay in Chiang Mai. The service was amazing(cannot remember the girl on the front desks name) but she could not do enough for you bless her, the room was a nice size, nice asian interior and very clean and the garden was magical! We were debating whether to stay in the center of Chiang Mai as this hotel is about 15mins on the outskirts however im so glad we didnt. It was so nice being a little bit out of the busy center and so cheap to get to with the free shuttle or boat there provided by the hotel and a 150 baht tuk tuk back! You wont regret staying here...it really made our stay in Chiang Mai even more special. :-)

Room Tip: A garden room is a must to enjoy the beautiful view :-)

We travelled in a group of 10+1 baby (13months) We check-in a townhome and a family suite. Rooms are all clean, but some rooms or house may not suitable for senior citizen (because climbing staircase needed)

Some active family members went for cycling and fishing (facilities provided by villa). Others are enjoying massage (arranged by villa's staff) and playing cards. Cards purchased from 7-11 nearby at expensive price 170baht.

They do provide free transport from villa to city as per schedule. But, transport from city back to villa is on own expenses.

Overall, we are very happy with our accommodation, relax environment, nice scenery and friendly people around.

My family of four (2x adults 2x kids of 1 and 4 years) stayed here in January 2012 for 12 nights and had such a wonderful time. The staff were very friendly and helpful and Prae, the owner, was ready to help and give advice all the time and spoke perfect English, nothing was too much trouble, even the 'Herbie' ride for our 4 year old son (VW Beetle). She really did make our holiday extra special, telling us little places to go as well as the more mainstream tourist attractions, organising taxis and great restaurants to go to.
The 2 room suite was lovely, really spacious and a huge bed in the master bedroom, breakfast was served on the lower terrace and was a great outdoor experience!
I would go back to the villa every time I'm in Chiang Mai and have already recommended it to friends, even though we have only just got back!!

Thank you Villa San Pee Seua for a truly wonderful stay, hope to see you again some day
