This hotel is beautiful and the staff and facilities great. It is a hidden oasis in the middle of a bustling city. It give you a flavour of Old Chang Mai. Breakfast is good and the restaurant area makes you feel like you were there decades ago. Very peaceful and tranquil and the pool area is a delight. Definately value for money and can't recommend it highly enough. Situated in a Korean suburb Its away from the Old town and the tourist area thus the locals are charming as you are an unusual part of their day.

We stayed here for four nights and found the staff at the front desk extremely hard to communicate with. We made our reservations 6 months in advance, but were still put on the 3rd floor which had no balcony. We were traveling with friends who needed to be on ground floor for medical reason and even though I informed them prior to their check-in the staff did nothing to accommodate them. I was so excited to take a bath, but found there was no hot water. They came numerous times to try and correct the issue, but after three failed attempts I gave up trying. The spa was double the price of any of the other spas around, so I did not want to even try the spa. The website looks great and says there is 24 hour room service, but I found that not to be true and they did not offer room service at all. The TV only had a couple of english channels. Outside of our room the hotel had a lot of character, but that was about it.

Room Tip: Make sure to ask for a ground floor room because there is no lift on the permise

Stayed in Yantarasiri for 3 nights over Christmas time, a very well located hotel just off one of the trendy street for bars, restaurants and shopping. The rooms are big & clean and nicely designed and the hotel has dense vegetation which makes the whole place very beautiful and relaxing.
The only thing is that the staff is not really helpful or knowledgeable about the things to do around. Having traveled in Thailand quite a bit, no matter the level of English language fluency, Thailand always offer the best! In Yantarasiri, the staff wasn't trying to understand or help us which was surprisingly unpleasant. On top of that, little detail, it is the first time ever I get charged for having the reception staff help me call on a local number to sort an issue with our car rental, aren't we talking about rather high end hotel?!

Few steps away from Nimmanhaemin Road, ie full of cafes, pubs, restaurants and convenience stores. The hotel itself provided clean and comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff, free Wi-Fi, and also beautiful greens landscape. If you like any day tour, they can arrange it too.

Room Tip: We booked 9 rooms for our group and surprisingly they upgraded 2 rooms to Executive Suite, huge bathtub with Jacuzzi and spacious rooms.

We stayed here on part of our honeymoon and during the Loy Krathong festival in November.the hotel was lovely with an older style feel, a nice change from your typical elevator lobby noisy type of modern hotel. The tropical courtyard and pond were lovely and gave a very relaxed atmosphere. There are a few verbose frogs at night so if you are a light sleeper take some earplugs!
Also it is quite near the airport and the planes fly very close but not too early or too late, but something to consider.
The staff were wonderful and always smiling and willing to help and very competent with any request or need, which always makes a big difference to a stay.
We love riding motorbikes so nowhere was really too far away for us to go but the plentiful tuk tuk service makes that easy for anyone to get where you want to go.
Overall a great place to stay to enjoy beautiful Chiangmai and I would stay there again and once again thank you again to the great staff!

Room Tip: Although a room near a tranquil pond and the pool might seem lovely, the frogs can be a little loud! We were on the top floor and they didn't bother us but light sleepers might be annoyed. Although we quite liked it as it added to the tropical ambiance and atmosphe.
