Great hotel and great location. The service was high in standards and the rooms were comfortable and clean, just flawless. Was nicely located and made it convenient to enjoy our trip and maximized each day! Our favorite part was the breakfast which was quality :)

We stayed here for three nights on the last leg of an escorted tour and were very glad we did. It's located right in the center of the night market. So you can just walk a few steps into the frantic pace of bargain hunting and then dive back into the serene quiet of this well run property. It's more suited for the business traveller but works just as well for the tourist. It offers free wifi and an ample breakfast buffet. The only weird thing was that you needed to get a new password every day in order to use the internet.
The pool was great and the bar makes a decent Margarita (surprisingly). The staff always wore a warm smile and were very friendly. The rooms were of average size and comfortable. The bathrooms were quite large and had a separate shower stall with good water pressure.
Overall, consistantly good service and product from Le Meridien in Thailand and I would recommend this property to any variety of traveller to this part of the world.

We visited Chiang Mai in December 2013 to see my husband, who had been working there for four months. Our stay in Le Meridien was outstanding, enhanced by the fantastic service of the friendly and helpful staff at this beautiful and vey ideally located hotel. The icing on the cake were the buffet breakfasts my family and I started each day with before exploring the city. Everything was always fresh, with a huge variety of options for Continental, North American or Asian choices. Of special mention is the Head Chef, Rishi, who would often come out to the dining area to make sure things were running smoothly and to take the time to greet the guests. I would definitely return to Le Meridien when we are back in Chiang Mai.

The hotel is perfectly situated in what seems to be the center of the "new" city. It's right next to the night market and there are tons of food and shopping options within walking distance. The beds and linens are superb and the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is well decorated and in excellent condition. The Italian restaurant in the hotel was very good, however fairly expensive, especially by Thai standards, and considering the great dining options within walking distance.

Hotel staff recommended Let's Relax massages located right across the street (first they suggested the hotel spa, but Thai massages can be had for much less outside the hotel). Very glad they did. We went there three times during our stay. They offer a more upscale massage experience for a still very reasonable price (~500 baht).

Room Tip: Le Meridien club room (floors 20-22) if you are a Starwood Preferred Member.

I don't have anything negative to really say about this hotel! If you're SPG Plat, this is the hotel to stay in while in Chiangmai.

Perfect location in town. Good and varied breakfast. Excellent service and upgrades. Large, bright, well laid out rooms. Most of all, great value for money. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Chiang Mai

we have booked the hotel at a very low rate and when we checked in we ask for a nice view and large room .knowing that our rate was really low we were not expecting to have a great room .the front office lady offer us to check-in right now in a regular room or if we wanted to wait 1 hour she could offer a much better room. we decided to wait and we were very agreably surprised to be offered a corner room. very spacious with great bathroom .
the hotel is located right next to the night bazaar and really great for shopping.
staff are nice and polite .
the only problem was the quality of the breakfast really not up to Le meridien standard .

Really liked this hotel, very modern, large room (suite) with bathtub overlooking the city. Very clean, nice lobby, and good location (close enough to the old city and the night market). Only stayed one night, but would have love to stay more.
