A very comfortable hotel. The staff are outstanding, particularly the concierge. We stayed a week and really felt at home. Everything in the rooms are where they should be, just so convenient. During my month in Thailand, at most places I was on the phone calling for things to be repaired, replaced or put right but never here. That made me feel relaxed and looked after. Concierge are happy to call and arrange whatever you need. It is well worth using these guys. The pool area on the 4th floor has a good view and has trees and umbrellas offering shade, there were alway loungers available and tables if you wanted to eat by the pool. A pair of small birds were building a nest in a branch overhanging the pool.
Negatives: I really have to get picky to fault this place. At breakfast they were slow a getting tea and coffee, some plates and bowls of some menu choices go empty for a little too long but there was so much to choice from that this was not a issue for me. They just don't have enough staff on at breakfast, as the staff are always busy and are doing their best. The other negative, at least for me, was the hotel didn't has much of a Thai flavour. I had thought that was what Le Meridiens were all about.
Overall I absolutely recommend staying here for comfort, ease...A very comfortable hotel. The staff are outstanding, particularly the concierge. We stayed a week and really felt at home. Tip: For a cheep reliable laundry, just go outside the front of the hotel and turn right, just across the side street.More
