This was our last day but one in Thailand when we had already tried a lot of Thai food. Compared with other restaurants we visited, the food here was not very special. We ordered a coconut soup, a red curry, a stir-fried spinach and a stir-fried chicken with glass noodle. The amount was quite small. Even though the price was not very high, it was not a particularly good value. Service was only moderately good. They did not even ask us whether we needed a drink.
This restaurant had exquisite decoration of old style which created a romantic environment.

Great food. Authentic Thai cuisine, traditional ambience with dirt cheap prices. Highly recommend. We ordered deep-fried soft crab and rice-noodle with coconut milk and shrimps, both amazing. We also ordered grilled pork for 100b, which is not on the menu. Fresh coconut only cost 50b each.

Great Thai food at reasonable price ( less than $40 US) including 4 large beers)in older hotel on a busy street. Air conditioned. The spicy cashew chicken dish was perfect.

Fresh vegies , fresh simple local dishes.
No internet. Clean toilets. A bit of a slack service and not much English but the food was definitely good.

This is the only restaurant in Chiang Mai we went to multiple times, in part because it was very close to our apartment, but mostly because it was just so good! Truly delicious original and very affordable Thai food, cooked and spiced to perfection, with great smoothies to boot. All dishes were available in a vegetarian version when we asked - replace the meat with tofu or mushrooms and Bob's your uncle! The setting is kinda colonial-ish, with high ceilings, ceiling fans and plenty of grandfather clocks on the walls.
The portions are very small though, so getting an appetiser before the main dish is recommended. The service is fast and friendly.
