“Great Pizza - Good Price 5*”
Reviewed October 11, 2013 via mobile

Came here on the 11th October for a cheap but substantial meal and this place excelled! Bought the margarita pizza for the equivalent of £2.80. Definitely pop here for a taste of home when your Chiang Mai

“Pizza in Thailand? Awesome”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

Looking for a change up in cuisine the hotel recommended this place. The pizza was some of the best that I have ever eaten. reasonable pricing, great service and a beautiful spot to eat.

“Pretty great pizzas!”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

Suffering from a dodgy stomach I needed a night off thai food and this Italian was our choice on the way to the walking market. The breadsticks, bread & sun dried tomato paste were a good start!
I'm always a bit wary ordering European food in Thailand as it doesn't tend to be very good, however the pizzas here were stone baked in a pizza oven and were as good as any I had in Italy last month. The white wine was pretty palatable for the price too.
We were all delighted with our food, the only thing to improve on is the air con could do to be a bit more fierce as it was hot inside the restaurant.

“Nothing to write home about”
Reviewed July 30, 2013

My husband and I wanted to go to Puccini's for Italian but at the last minute found out they were closed. Girasole was our second choice and we soon discovered that it was a very poor one. We arrived at the restaurant to find the host chewing food while talking to us. It was not a pretty sight. He sat us at a table with a dirty tablecloth so we asked to be moved.

There is no atmosphere at this restaurant to write about. It is about as bland as they come. My husband had a chicken parmesan dish that was bland - edible but absolutely nothing special. I had the cheese and spinach crepes with tomato sauce and they were fine.

Unfortunately, we had got dressed up and were looking for a really nice evening out. Girasole definitely didn't provide what we were looking for. However, if you still want to try it, you will not find it on Rachadamnoen street but rather on a side street behind Hot Chili restaurant. There is a coffee shop on the corner and Girasole is right behind it.

“Excellent Ambience! Great Food!”
Reviewed June 5, 2013

We are regular visitors at Girasole Restaurant, and we have never been let down by the food here! The chef is very accommodating with special requests for extra chillies, ingredients, etc. We would recommend anyone who loves Italian to visit here - and the ambience is excellent too - with both indoor and outdoor seatings.
