“Music on the River”
Reviewed March 21, 2013

Riverside is where trendy Thais and tourists mingle over good food and great music. I really enjoyed the salad with the northern sausages (of course I can't remember the name now!) and drinking pitchers of beer with real cloth napkins. It might seem pricy for Thai food, but the service was attentive and the entertainment was good.

“Good food, great setting and what a view!”
Reviewed March 21, 2013

We ate here twice and the food was very good on both occasions. The service was excellent and it just a lovely place to sit and watch the river go by with a glass of wine to hand. Beautiful historic house as well. Well worth a visit.

“Best meal during Thai trip”
Reviewed March 20, 2013

Very nice restaurant-bar on the Ping river with a very large menu. I had the 3 flavor fish that was just great. Plus, they had a band downstairs that was just rockin, unfortunately it was packed down there so i was reduced to standing for a while before I left. But there was plenty of room upstairs in the restaurant with a nice view of the river.

“Great night out”
Reviewed March 17, 2013

We went to this place on a Saturday night and it was brilliant! They serve food (though we only had drinks) and have live music every day of the week. The bands were great and we danced until 2am, when the last band finished. The location is great, based on a river and with such a nice feel, one of the best nights out in Thailand!

“The restaurant - overrated, overpriced”
Reviewed March 16, 2013

This place is listed everywhere as a must visit. Indeed the location and the atmosphere is nice and romantic.
The place is separated to the higher deck - the bar, with young crowd (mostly local) and live music, and lower deck - the quiet restaurant. We were at the restaurant.

The food and drinks were very expensive and the service was slow. That is all I remember from my experience there. Perhaps if we were just drinking at the bar it would be different.
