“Fun and yummy!”
Reviewed October 4, 2012 via mobile

My husband and I did the evening cooking class when visiting Chiang Mai in September and it was such a great experience. Pot our cooking guru picked us up from our hotel and took us to the market to teach us about the ingredients used in Thai cuisine. Then we headed back to the school where we got to each pick 4 dishes to cook. Pot took us through the prep for each dish then we all got to cook our own meals which were delish! The food was amazing and Pot was very a very entertaining teacher. Getting a certificate and cook book to take back home was a nice touch to the end of the evening. Would highly recommend this cooking school for an amazing culinary experience.

“The REAL #1 on trip advisor!!!!”

If you're going to cooking school, this is the one to do it at in my uneducated opinion. Pot the chef was fantastic at what he does, more importantly made it fun and interesting. Good banter and his family and team were really well organised, as soon as we put something down it was cleared away. Everyone's food turned out great. Free transport to and from the school, which its nice that its out of town as you feel much more out in authentic Thailand than in the city, and only a few minutes away. Beer is cold and cheap there too, so you can get wasted if that's a preference.

“A really great experience”
Reviewed October 2, 2012

My adult son and I signed up to take this class. He knew very little about cooking, loves Thai food and wanted to see how it is made. Theypicked us up from our hotel and immediately made us feel welcome. Our instructor was with us from the moment he picked us up until the class was over. They took us to a very "local" market and taught us aboutthe ingredients we would be using. The class was small ( 9) and we ALL enjoyed it very much. The food and the experience were worth it. We both recommend!

“Perfect deal even for Swabians ;)”

Well worth the money. You spend a whole day or half a day having fun and learning a lot. You are shown all the vegetables on a local market with no other tourist group around and the couple speaks really good English and explains all the dishes to you. Nice location and helpful staff.

“nice”

I did attend the cooking class in Vietnam. As a Asian, I don't feel very interesting. The staff is very nice.
