“clean but doesnt valuable.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 1, 2012

clean, big swimming pool but needs extra money.Noisy cos the room Wall is thin and made by plywood. 150B to own a room private is not worth. the stuff's English is not good enough to make me understand the room fee. and finally, when i pay my bill, it give me a scare, onemore night stay's fee is nearly double price than on Internet, and i have to pay 7% VAT, the bicycle rant need VAT also. its worthless indeed. its also a unhappy journey for me!

I initially booked 4 nights but ended up staying almost 2 weeks. Wonderful place, so peaceful. A little far from the city, so if you will spend a lot of time in the old town, maybe it could be a problem but if you are looking for rest and relaxation by the incredible pool in a green and lovely very clean and friendly place, this is it. The shared rooms are bit noisy due to the design of the building so bring your extra strong earplugs. The breakfast was ok, but go early if you want food. I'm mostly a black coffee for breakfast type, and sometimes even the really good coffee was gone by 9 am. The restaurant was great for lunch though, very tasty, even though quite a bit more expensive than the very good simple Thai places around the corner. The walk to town isn't bad, maybe 40 minutes, but there really isn't much reason to leave the neighborhood if you are here to relax. Good wifi strength in the rooms, hardly ever went down. Will definitely stay here again.

I stay at Dorm for 2 nights last weekend.
Staff was very nice. I arrived Chiang mai around mid night but she checked me in with smile!!!

Room is very clean but a bit far from shared restroom.

With Breakfast included, I enjoyed it.

I wish I'll come here again shortly.

We stayed here in late July for three nights. We were looking for sonewhere with a pool to relax and Eco Resort did not disappoint on that front! The onsite restaurant was good but as it was not very busy it seemed as though the only person working there was the waiter/cook/bartender/cashier (not the worlds fastest service as I'm sure you can imagine!)

The resort is located away from the centre of Chiang Mai so keep that in mind if you are looking to enjoy some nightlife you would be best to take a taxi or stay elsewhere

The washrooms for the hostel rooms were GORGEOUS and there is a 7-11 not far (turn left out of the resort then right at the main road) for any poolside drinks or snacks you might require

Overall a great escape to pass a few days!

We really loved our room at this lovely resort. Not sure how eco it is but still!

The food was very good and the swimming pool was lovely. The service was very good and the old part of the building has a lovely charm to it. I would stay here again without a second thought.

Eco Resort is a very nice facility. The dorms are clean. I stayed here on two different occasions. The dorms are a little loud. Each room comes with a towel. There are shared dorms and female/male dorms. The breakfast was good. They will make eggs to order. The security is nice. I've had hit and miss with the front desk service. I was locked in my room because the handle failed and the service was very good. Sometimes I'd go up and ask questions and I found the people at the front rude. I scheduled a pick up for the airport and they fail to tell you that the price is per person. I was in the heart of Chiang Mai and not all the tuk tuks or taxis know where the hotel is located. It can be problematic so bring a map. Overall, it was clean, good breakfast, affordable but a little out of the way. There is a pool for about 100 baht.
