An amazing day out & whilst not cheap I would consider it great value for money. We paid approx £50 per person and were collected from our hotel in Chiang Mai by minibus (great condition & very tidy). During the journey we 'enjoyed' a video which promoted the event to come along with other offerings by the company.
The journey was fun too as the last few miles were all uphill through narrow bendy roads as we climbed the mountains, nice and hairy start to get the heart pumping, felt safe during most of this bit.
At the location, we were introduced to the team, including our sky buddies who would be providing support & health & safety during our experience. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. We then got kitted out with harnesses & helmets making us all look very attractive and walked over to station number 1.
Whilst the majority of the stations were zip lines, there was the occasional 'hike' and skywalk too but it was the zip lines we where there to experience and that we did, in spades.
The rush is amazing, especially on the 850 line which is over with surprisingly quickly in real time but seems to take a lot longer during.
Most exciting/scary moment was to come, a line they called the Superman...... mmmm, took me some time to do this one as I over thought the whole thing, thinking of Thai health & safety, my weight, how many people had used it before etc.etc. and refused to go initially - even with one of our sky buddies trying to give me a helpful 'shove'. After letting my final 2 friends go before me, I plu, ked up the courage & went for it & was rewarded by a very enjoyable, speedy ride after a little free fall.
After returning to base, we went to lunch (a very nice banquet meal & part of package), post lunch we were taken on a trip to the local waterfall but as it was raining heavily we chose not to have a walk around. Returned back to hotel, safe & sound with a racing heart & a story to tell.
Fabulous fun, very safe (keep your legs up high) definitely not for the faint of heart - you will not be disappointed.

While visiting Chiang Mai I took the Flight of the Gibbon zipline adventure. This is a top-notch operation, with safety as their number one concern. The flight rangers are awesome, and make sure that everyone has fun and enjoys the experience. The tour takes about half a day and does involve some moderate hiking, but is an amazing experience. Flying through the tree tops and crossing hanging bridges is something I will never forget. I would recommend the flight of the gibbon to anyone who wants a little excitement during their relaxing visit to Chiang Mai.

There are no words to describe how much fun and thrilling this experience is!!
We arrived for our day, we're taken through the preliminary site promptly and with good communication. The zip lines and superman jump take your breath away and the views and environment are truly spectacular.

Absolutely loved this day trip out. Felt completely safe, the guides were incredible, lovely and enthusiastic people who are happy to guide you if you tremble. It was a great day, the groups are not too big so that you have to wait too long, nor are they too small. The lunch was yummy, everything flowed perfectly and we were back at our hotel when they said we would be. Seeing the Gibbon swinging through the trees just finished the whole experience off!

After umm-ing and ah-ing, mr and my husband decided to not do the gibbon experience... main reason being it just worked out to be too expensive (£320 per person). Fortunately for us, we came across flight of the gibbon, which although was only 1 day, worked out better value at £60 per person.

You definately get your moneys worth of zip lining, and we even saw a gibbon family (something that is not guaranteed with the other gibbon experience). Donatello our lead was a comical delight and we were given complimentary t shirts at the end. Yes, their professionally taken photos are overpriced, but you can take your camera and take plenty if good pics yourself... as we did.

Lunch was included, which was tasty but lacking in vegetarian variety (2 curries, 1 salad a rice). Make sure you are energised for the waterfall, it is a decepticely long but enjoyable climb up.
