“Nice B&B”
Reviewed November 5, 2013

Stayed here for three nights at 'honeymoon room' during Nov, 13. Clean and beauty room with the upper floor, quite small but cozy. All staffs are very helpful and friendly.

The location is convenience (10-15 minutes. walking) and not far for bank (money exchange) & some food peddler.

Not much choices for the breakfast.

Room Tip: The stair is quite slant. If you need usual go to the washroom during midnight or any foot concerns...

This is a cute little boutique with a slight european flair. The rooms are very cozy, with two people and the bed there is little room for bags. The shower and bathroom are the same room which makes it interesting. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fairly good, enough to get your day going. But, the sweets that they produce out of their bakery are delicious!!!!

Overall, it was a very nice place to stay but, there are so many places next time i will probably try a new place.

Really all you are looking for on your holiday. We stayed here for three nights and absolutely adored the place. The rooms are a bit small, but the bed is great (very important for me!) and the room was clean. Pick a room upstairs with a view. We had a little balcony, but there was no point in even opening the door as we were looking onto someone's roof. Downstairs is the breakfast area with a buffet. The location of this place is very convenient in the centre of the Old City of Chiang Mai. It is a bit away from the real hustle and bustle, but a 15 minute walk will bring you to the tourist attractions of the city. Opposite this lovely hotel is a small bar and a massage place, next to a nail salon. I highly recommend getting a massage here. The owner of the place will take you up the stairs and he really knows what he is doing, unlike many other places.

We stayed here one night and quite enjoyed it. It's located within the city wall, conveniently placed close to one of the "ring" road where you could jump on a tuk tuk to go anywhere, but also a few minutes walk from the city centre.
We loved the decor (we got a superior room) which had a sitting room with a TV downstairs (and a microwave and sink!) and a bed upstairs with another (but smaller) TV.
The only two problems where the lack of a mosquito net and the fact that the bathroom (which was downstairs) was tiny and was a wet room (the shower was above the toilet). Also we had to throw the toilet paper in a separate bin which was a bit annoying. Apart from the bathroom, we loved staying there. The breakfast was served in the bakery cafe next door which had really nice pancakes and cakes (the latter were not for breakfast though).
Worth staying maybe for couple of days otherwise might be better staying in a room with a bigger shower.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a bigger bathroom which is not a wet room.

The hotel is well located in the middle of the city, in the entrance you see a little house with central yard, surrounded by trees which makes the hotel really fresh.

The room was pretty and also comfortable it has two floors I the first one has a little living room the closet and the bathroom in the second floor the bedroom and a small balcony and from there you can see the central yard o the hotel, it was really nice at sun set after a long walk in the city.

There was a thing that I don't like the shower was one with the rest of the bathroom so when you get a shower the rest of the bathroom get wet.

Like the other reviews say, this place is really fantastic. Great European style in the old city of Chiang Mai. Staff are fantastic and ever helpful. Well trained and you really have the feel of being in a cozy boutique hotel / guesthouse. Never got breakfast but it did look good! So many great little bars and restaurants around full of back-packers etc. The restaurant in this hotel is sooooo nice..! You gotta eat there. Also, got a welcome drink which was a nice touch. They have bikes for hire there also at 50 Baht a day..! All rooms have DVD players and a huge collection of DVD's in the reception for you to borrow. Lovely great detail in all the rooms. Stay here, guarantee not to be disappointed..:)

Room Tip: I think there is 12 Rooms in total so just make sure to ask for a spacious room...!!

Very cozy and comfortable. 2 floors with plenty of space in the rooms. The single rooms have balconies while family rooms have split floors with staircases. all rooms have television with decent channels. Beds are comfortable and its nice and quite for a good nights sleep. The rooms are always spotless and well-equipped. Its a little out of the way but the December coolness makes it a pleasant walk. Just a little way up is the famous Anusan (forgive me for wrong spelling) Night Market. In fact its one of the reasons we booked Charcoa. The hotel is very charming and a definite must-stay.

Likes- I love the rooms, the atmosphere, the décor, the location and the fact that you can rent a bike for sightseeing. they also have a lovely lobby where you can rent movie ( yes there is a cd player in the room) and pick up brochures for attractions/tours for any blank days left to fill. I don't remember a swimming pool...

Dislikes- its a bit of a walk to get a red bus ( taxi ) to get to wherever. But less then 5 minutes.

Secrets- there is a halal shop just up a few blocks from charcoal called le spice. the food is fabulous. it serves Italian/thai food.

Room Tip: single rooms have balconies to dry clothes family rooms have more space higher floors have virtua...
