My husband and I patronize this restaurant every time we come—which has been over 20 years. Its profits are used to combat AIDS and unwanted pregnancies, i.e. the condoms. The cocktails are not the best but drinkable. Beer and wine are available but limited. What is not limited is the food menu. Everything we have ever ordered was great and served family-style. Not only is the food very good but it is reasonably priced. (most dishes are around 220 Baht or $7-8 USD). This restaurant is casual, great place for friends and family, but perhaps not the best for a first date. What is amusing (at least on the first time) is the patrons are given a condom at the end of the meal in lieu of a mint or chocolate. We will continue coming back!
