Description: AUTHENTIC FRENCH CUISINEOpened since August 2006 and recently relocated in the lobby of the distinguished Athénée Tower, amidst the vibrant, easily accessible neighbourhood of Ploenchit and Wireless, Le Beaulieu is the culmination of acclaimed chef Hervé Frerard’s culinary expertise. Le Beaulieu is a fine French restaurant serving convivial, made-to-be-shared and delicious food in a casual, yet cozy, setting. From premium Fines de Claire oysters to the humble bouillabaisse, roasted Bresse chicken, homemade pâtés or côte de boeuf, chef Hervé meticulously brings out the detail and simplicity of his food by highlighting the quality produce sourced from France, Europe, Thailand and around the world. The desserts provide an appropriate denouement to a lovely meal including: last-minute cooked soufflé, slow-cooked nectarines, crème brûlée and baked apple tarte. Every dish has been refined to bring out the rich flavors and textures of the fine ingredients used.

“Great food!”
Reviewed September 14, 2013 via mobile

The food was very good - exactly what u would expect in this kind of restaurant. However service is still lacking - food recommendation was great in the beginning but after that. The brunch menu was given to us to select the dessert and when this was pointed out, the brunch menu was removed but no new menu was provided. There was no 'special touch' to the service.

“Quite expensive but okay if want to splurge”
Reviewed August 16, 2013 via mobile

Three of us had set lunches yesterday. The food itself was good, perhaps 8/10. Appetizers we ordered were slow cooked egg with salad (egg was a bit disappointing as I saw promotional picture of it beforehand and it looked much better than in actual dish), terrine (okay), and mushroom soup (very good).

Main dishes were Coq Au Vin (very good), steamed John Dory fillet (so-so), and slow cooked beef cheek (a bit bland).

Desserts were very good but portion was a big bit for dessert dishes.

Good service. Good atmosphere.
