This is one of several restaurants in the Ploenchit Centre. We have been to several of them and twice to this restaurant in the last 6 months. Eating middle eastern food of good quality is a refreshing change to Thai and the other international cuisines on offer in the Ploenchit area. The mixed Shawa was great as was the fried shrimp. The wine selection was limited. The staff are appropriate to the style of restaurant, efficient yet not over friendly. The food costs was 930 TBaht for four adults and nobody left hungry. Worth a visit if you are in the locality.

Every dish we ordered in this place was cooked just right. The meat kababs were perfect and so was the chicken kabab and shishtawook. Beirut has a wide selection of Lebanese starters which you can try with their signature yummy bread. Highly recommended if you like Arabic food.

I must admit that i come here quite often, well atleast once a week that's for sure. It a menu for those who enjoy clean(not so much fat) food. If you come here alone or just 2-3 people, go to the last page of the menu, they offer a multi-selection in one plate (smaller portion) with pita bread. So you will end up not top full and you can try different stuff. But if you are certain that you can eat alot, here are what i recommend:

- Foul/ful ; a bean slad with tomato very proteinful + add some olive oil 10/10

-Tabuleh; Parsley salad + lime wedge 9/10

- Liver tomato; this is a really good one add some pepper would be nice 9/10

- Hummus; any hummus in this place is quite standard 8/10

- Kibbie/Kebbeh; quite flavorful & crunchy outside 8/10

- Wine leaves; love it, so greens with rice in the middle. 8/10

- mix grilled; they have lamb/chicken/beef & so on this one os for meet lover indeed.

They serve with 3 dippings. the garlic paste, the salty cream one & the thai green chilli one(almost like seafood dipping in thailand)

The manager is abit strict-faced. He is a good guy just that he doesnt smile alot. Dont get him wrong people.

Cheers

Ps: Avoid the fish. And go for the small pieces of dessert in the chiller outside, they were amazing & the chocolat pudding as well.

I have been to multiple outlets of Beirut, one at Silom, and the other one next to Ploenchit BTS.
The food is very good, competitively priced, the Falafal, Balanoosh, Lime Mint Juice are my personal favorites.

As mentioned by some other reviewers, the service is cold, and the Manager is more often than not, does not seem happy with your presence :)

However, the light Arabic music, local serials, combined with some great food makes for the place despite the not-so friendly Manager.

I have been at Beirut restaurant @ Silom rd. It was my first experience to try lebanese food.
Very very good! Suitable for vegetarian since there is huge choice of vegetarian meals.
Also I really enjoy home-made ajran, miss this taste!
The negative part is, unfortunately, very slowly and unfriendly staff. No even scent of warmness at this place. Such a pity!
I would really to think seriously if I want to enjoy their food again with this "mood" inside the place.
